Eating Disorders

There are many things that can cause eating disorders, here are a few symptoms. If you realize that you have any of these, please go see a doctor and get help with it at once. Symptoms of Eating Disorders:
* Excessive weight loss or gain over a short period of time
* Continuing to doet although extremely thin
* Believing your overweight, although underweight
* Loss of menstrual cycle
* Unusual interest in food, or new, strange eating habits
* Eating in secret
* Obsession with exercise
* Serious depression
* Bingeing on large amounts of food
* Bingeing with no noticable weight gain
* Vomiting or using drugs to stimulate vomiting, bowel movements or urination
* Disappearing into the bathroom for long periods of time to induce vomiting
* Abusing drugs or alcohol or both

Every month, I'll write an article about a different type of drug, it could be anything from weed, to crack, to just diet pills....so I hope it's informative for you =)

Depressants- There are 3 main types of depressant drugs. Sedatives, Opiates, and Alcohol.
Sedatives, like Valiums, and other tranqulizers, are the most widely used sedatives, and are used to cause a calming, sleepy effect.
Opiates, or narcotics are another category of depressant drugs. Opium is derived from the opium poppy plant. Two of the natural ingredients in Opium is Morphine, and Codiene. A third dereviative, herione, is obtained by chemically treating morphine. Herione is the strongest of all narcotics. It can be snorted, or injected.
Injecting Herione causes an immediate rush like that of a sexual orgasm, don't let that get to you though because herione depleats your sexual drive, and after you use it for a period of time, that may be the only thing close to an orgasm you'll feel.
Herione is so addictive, that users begin to feel withdrawls after just a few hours without this drug.
Alcohol is another depressant. It is an extremely potent drug that not only comes in many different forms, but is completely legal!! Drinking alcohol affects your behavior on many different levels. Depending on your height and weight, 4 beers or 3 shots 80 proof liquor makes you legally drunk and increases your risk of having a car wreck by 6 times.
Here are a few interesting facts about alcohol:

* Alcoholism is the nation's #1 drug problem (yes it Is a drug) and after heart disease and Cancer is the 3rd largest health problem.
Does this sound funny to anyone but me? It's the 3rd largest health problem, but if you stop and think about it, IS totally avoidable!!!!!
*More than 200,000 alcohol related deaths occur every year, about half of these are suicide. This is something that hits home with me too. My dad killed himself while he was drunk so don't think it couldn't happen to you.
*Alcohol is linked to 2/3 of all cases of domestic abuse, and 1/3 of all child abuse cases.
Withdrawl symptoms can include, vomiting, the shakes, nausea, fever, and sometimes hallucenations. These symptoms can be so severe that death can occur.

Out on the town? Think you can really trust that person that's sitting there and wants to buy you a drink? For all of you people out there that go out and just want to have a good time, well there is a drug that will put an end to your fun times! It's called gamma hydroxybutyrate (GHB) or in other words, an Easy Lay.

This new drug is everywhere and people everywhere are using it to get people in bed unwillingly. Most common places for this drug is in restaurants, parties clubs dates and in other peoples homes. GHB is very easy to get hold of, anyone with Internet access can find away to both the recipe and the kit with which to cook up a batch.

The scary thing about GHB is that it's pretty hard to detect, it dissolves quickly and is clear with a very slight taste of salt. Just one drink can make you feel like you are totally blisted and 12 hours later you'll be waking up not knowing what happened.

If you have been poisoned with the drugs usual dosing-one or two tablespoons the drug will take effect in 10 to 30 minutes some effects are....
*Dizziness
*Nauseoua
*Server headache

If you think that you have been intoxicated with GHB and may have been raped these are some things that you should NOT do...
*Bath
*Brush your teeth
*drink anything
*wash your face
*Urinate

If you have to go to the bathroom, save it in a cup or something to take to the hospital because that's how they will test for GHB if you flush it you have flushed your evidence which will make for a harder trial in court.

Some ways to protect your self from GHB and drugs like it.
*Never accept a drink sent by a stranger
*Pass on the punch bowl
it's is to easy for someone to walk by and put a little in *Don't do shots
strong tasting shooters will mask the salty taste *Hold your drink
once you get it don't sit it down and leave it don't give it to anyone to hold either...big no no
When you go out follow these simple things and you should be fine and smart enough to just have fun and avoid those GHB users.
