Barnabas Collins is
the well known resident vampire of Collinwood. He was engaged to Josette
Dupres in 1795, but circumstances prevented his marriage to her. He did
however, marry one Angelique Bouchard, the woman who bewitched him in more
than one way.

There was always a storm brewing between these two.
But
he could never get rid of her.
It was a lonely existence,
one in which he lived for almost 200 years.
A 1000 nights of loneliness.

She vowed her love would never end,
and it didn't.
She did not cause this illness, but was there to help cure him.

Back and forth they battled, through
time and space. But in the end, he forgave her. Maybe she was his "one
true love."
