Homemade Goulash
1 pound of hamburger 1 cup of corn (frozen works   
   best)
1 (4 ounce) can of mushrooms 1/2 onion, chopped
1 can tomato sauce 1 can whole tomatoes
2 cups pasta of your choice 1 tsp. seasoning salt (optional or  
   to your taste)
1 tsp. garlic powder (optional or  
   to your taste)
1 tsp. onion salt (optional or to  
   your taste)
3 cups of water
1. put pasta in a 1 quart to 1 and 1/2 quart size pot.  Add water
   rinsing is optional.
2. In a skillet, while pasta is boiling, brown hamburger and
   chopped onion.  Season meat with seasoning salt, garlic powder,
   and onion salt.  Drain.
3. Return hamburger to skillet and add tomato sauce, whole
   tomatoes, mushrooms, and corn.
4. Once the hamburger mixture is heated and corn is softened,
   remove from heat.
5. In a large bowl, mix the pasta and hamburger mixture
   together.  You may add parmesan cheese over the top for more
   flavor.


 
Meat Loaf with Rice
   1 pound hamburger 1 can creme of mushroom soup
1/2 cup cooked rice 1 egg
1/2 onion, chopped seasonings
Preheat oven to 350°.  In a large bowl, mix the hamburger, cooked rice, onion, egg, and seasons.  Some
seasonings to use would be garlic powder, onion salt, seasoning salt, or plain salt and pepper.  Once mixture
is thuroly combined, put into cake pan or on a cookie sheet and shape in to a rectangle or circle.  Take your creme of mushroom soup and pour over the top.  Place in oven and cook for 45 minutes to hour.


 
 
Heavenly Rice
1 package lemon jello® (or flavor you like) 1 package lime jello® (or another flavor you like)
1 1/2 cups of rice, cooked 1 (12 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained (save the juice)
1 to 2 cups vanilla ice cream 4 cups of water, used to make the jello®
 
Make Jell-O following the directions on the box, that is what all that water was for, but substitute some of
the water with the left-over pineapple juice.  Mix in the cooked rice and pineapple when preparing to set
the Jell-O.  Right before its solid, mix in the 1 to 2 cups of vanilla ice cream.  Let it finish setting.  You may
also add ice cream on top when serving. 
 
Asparagus Casserole
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can of cream of asparagus soup 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can asparagus cuts & tips
1 to 2 cups pasta of your choice Oven safe casserole dish
3 cups of water 1 can of tuna, chicken, turkey, or ham
Put the 3 cups of water in a 1 to 2 quart sauce pan to boil.  When boiling add pasta.  When pasta is to desired tenderness, remove from heat, drain, and set aside.
In a medium size mixing bowl, put the cream of asparagus soup, asparagus cuts & tips, and meat.  Mix well.  Add pasta.
Bake in oven at 350º for 15 to 20 minutes.  For a topper, Swiss or Mozzarella cheese for the last 5 minutes.
