*FRIENDS*
Amy & Prue
The other two sides of the triangle
Amy and Prue, man, you guys have got to be the bestest buds a girl could have!! I swear to God, I love you both to death!!! Thanks a zillion for being there for me and having the amazing ability to tolerate my hyperactiveness and bizarre moods, my constant chatter and my endless and ever changing crush list, my drunken ramblings, my stubbornness, my idiosyncrasies and my wacky sayings!! Thanks for helping me out with life's problems and always being able to stop what you're doing and help out whenever I've needed you. Thanks for being great people and for having the ability to gossip and/or bitch with me too!! Year 11 would have been such a drag if it wasn't for you guys, and Prue, if you were with us in year 12, it would have been killa. Now that I'm repeating year 12, while both of you are at tertiary study places, (ie: TAFE and Underdale Uni), I'm wishing that I had both of you guys with me, but that can't happen so I guess my family will have to settle for super-long phone-calls!!!! hehee!! Speaking of my family, thanks heaps for always being the ones to convince mum and dad about letting me do stuff!! Oh, and while we're on the topic of mum and dad, I'm sooooo sorry that they tend to involve you in family arguments and ask for your opinions, especially while we're in the car!!AMY:
Thanks heaps for always being the one to bringing me back to reality with your astounding (and yes, damn annoying) sense of logic, during all the times I let my imagination run wild. Without that, hey, who knows what I would have done! Thanks for being the chauffer to all of those parties (as soon as Mum & Dad decide that I am coordinated enough to drive by myself, I'll be reimbursing you!! Maybe when I'm 25 they might consider it!!) I think now is just as good as time as any to thank you for your misguided love advice during May of 1997. (Perhaps if I hadn’t listened to you, then maybe I would have been spared of having substantial amounts of drool being deposited into my mouth!!!). Oh, Amy, I'm sorry about Dad always picking up the other phone and telling us to hang up, and then him unplugging us!!!!!PRUE:
You're the best country bumpkin amongst the best bunch of country bumpkin people I've ever come across!!!! I'm so glad that you were put into my homegroup in year nine (1994) (remember how we all thought that you and Glynn were brother and sister twins?) and again in year ten (1995)! Thanks for all the long convos, both on the phone and in person and for helping me out with everything (think back to May 1997. If you still don't know what I'm talking about, ring me!!). Thanks for dying my hair in year 11 (who could forget Amy's hair turning pink???!!!) Not having you with us in year 12 made a huge difference to the group. It was like having a gap there that couldn't be filled- especially when we organised groupie things - I always found myself accounting for one more- but we knew that you were with a great bunch of people, so we knew you were happy. There's one thing that I must admit here- I can't wait to hear the speech that you'll make at my 21st in 2000!!!!! (I'm just wondering how many stories you've remembered and are planning to tell!!!!).There was so much that I wanted to thank you guys for, yet I didn't know where to start cos I thought I'd have missed out on some important stuff. Despite the fact that we only became really great friends during the end of 95 and the whole of 96, I feel as though I've known you both forever. Well, all together, we have had almost 5 years of friendship. Five years of friendship, and hopefully, many more to come.
Lotsa Love,
Katina
