My Expierence with The Corrs at the TLA!

The show began at 21:00 on October 8, 1998 at The Theater of Living Arts(TLA) in Philadelphia, Pa. Before the show...I had the pleasure of meeting three members of "The Corrs List". Tom, Julie, and Yvette...."IT WAS A PLEASURE MEETING YOU ALL!" I certinaly look foreward to seeing them all again in the near future.

As The Corrs took stage, all 100 or so people that were there screamed thier lungs out! I know I certianly did. :) The Corrs began right away with "When He's Not Around". I was so excited! I started to take pictures, knowing that pictures were not allowed to be taken at the TLA. This is why I had a very small amount of pictures. Some big guy with a nose ring finally did come up to me and had me stop. Oh well!*shrugs shoulders*

The playlist was simple. It almost followed the playlist to The Montreux Jazz Festival in Montreux, Switzerland in July of this year. Not one person 'just stood' during the show. Everyone could not help but sing and dance. I know I lost my voice during the show from screaming and singing. LOL! Of course, Andrea teasted all of the guys during the show.*g* I am sure Yvette and or Julie could have cared less. lol! Personally, I found myself playing along with Sharon.:)

Once the show was finished, The Corrs did come back out for an encore and Andrea did give me her tin whistle!! I was so thrilled! So was my cousin, Sarah, that was with me. Though..she concentrated on Jim most of the time. Once everyone was forced to leave, Sarah and I said our goodbyes to Julie and Tom. Sarah and I snuck back to get to meet The Corrs, however another big guy told me that they left already for New York City for press talks. "Yeah right!" What a liar. Anyway, we went to a small coffee shop afterwards where there were a few people from the show there. One guy saw me holding Andrea's tin whistle and offered me $100.00 for it. LOL! "No way man! Get your own!". :)

After a coffee, we went back to the parking lot to go home. Before we got there...a hugh bus rolled up with a 'U-Haul' being towed on the rear. *scratching head*. Hmmm...I wonder who that could have been???*EG*
