Since NKOTB Donnie has jumped into the movie biz with both feet. He has done a HBO movie "Butter", and appeared opposite Mel Gibson in "Ransom". Other movies to look for him in are "Body Count" and "Bullet". The last three are in video stores right now. So be sure to check them out at your video stores tonight!!! Although Mr. Hollywood is busy with the camera he is still in the studios working with music, he has done producing for other artist including former band mates Joe McIntrye and Jordan Knight, and Boston native Super Mr. Marvelous.

"SOUTHIE" is a film written by James Cummings and co-written and directed by John Shea. The starring cast consist of Donnie Wahlberg, Anne Meara and James Cummings. This movie is about a young man returning home after three years, and during the visit gets pulled back into the life of his tough South Boston neighborhood. It was shot entirely in South Boston.
