SORROW
>
The sun set never to rise againthen darkness fell and winter winds blew. Sadness and grief now aboundwhere gardens of flowers once grew.
Silence came with the windthe sound of it was deafening.Where laughter and song once were the rulethe quiet was unrelenting.
The place once filled with love and joynow is but a hole.So deep and endless does it gothrough my heart and into my soul.
That part of me which is now goneis a loss sorely felt.Because it is that emptinessthe place that you once dwelt.
So alone I sat in that empty placeand with a heavy heart I criedthe tears of pain and sorrowbecause a friendship has died.
