Gobbler got run over by a tractor,
making an escape from those who eat,
You can have your huge 'ol feast,
as long as you don't eat any meat.

Gobbler'd been eating too much corn,
and we knew he'd have to go.
Nice and fat just like we like 'em,
and the fat just made him really really slow.

When we ate it for Thanksgiving,
the guests just didn't know,
the story of this turkey,
and the way it had to go.
