obsession

obsession:
going after what can't be had
never quitting, always trying
til it finally makes you mad
crazy, not angry
when you finally cross over that line
when does hope become obsession?
and where do we draw that line?
should we ever dare to hope
for that which we can not have?
and what if that hope becomes obsession
could we all be driven mad?

wasted

we live our lives day by day
never really concentrating
on the matters that need attending
we tend to keep procrastinating
knowing that tomorrow comes
and the sun, again will shine
we waste the now, so precious still
'cause we'll always find the time
so now, the now is wasted
though no-one's sure quite how
and when we finally find the time
guess what!! we find the time is now
and what if there's no more time to find?
which soon might be gods' will
then tomorrow will never come
and now is wasted, and forever still
