let's leave the masquerade behind
and forget the troubles on our minds
let's get lost inside the moment
but could we live with no regret
wishes made upon a star
not even knowing where they are
get me through this dreary day

these thoughts I have, still unspoken
I'm still not sure of these emotions
though tempted and taunted by your eyes
and so easily seduced by your lies

knowing now the facts are true
but can I really live my life without you
