do children remember
most of what was good?
were there hugs mom?
I'd remember if I could
did you tuck me in
and give me a kiss goodnight?
I do that with my kids
almost every single night
I don't want to give my kids the chance
to ever doubt my love
mom?, what was so wrong with me
that i didn't deserve your love?
children should be treated
as if they're angels...fallen from the sky
they should be sheltered, loved, and protected
until again they're ready to fly
my kids know they can count on me...
I can feel it in their hugs
I learned quickly not to count on you...
but were there any hugs?
