Next to my family, my friends are the most important people in

my life. I have friends that I've grown up with, some that I met

in high school, college and some of my online buddies.

What I've learned in my 36 years of life is that you must choose

your friends carefully. (Momma always said, "Pick your friends

wisely... because you're guilty by association.") As a teenager, I

thought she was being dramatic! But now I see what wise advice

that was. I've also learned to love and accept each friend for

who they are... each one has their strengths and weaknesses.

Happiness is having friends to lean on!

I love each and every one of them. Each one plays a differant role

in my life. Some I can tell every goofy dream and idea to, some

make me laugh so hard my sides ache. Some, I enjoy movies with,

while another feels the same love that I have for playing music.

I know that my life would not be the same without you, my dear

..you went to the prom with the wrong person.

..you really fell in love.

..you became a steady girlfriend.

..you became a significant other.

..you became significant to yourself.

..sooner or later, you start to take yourself seriously.

..you know what to get worked up about, and what to get rid of.

..and you know when it's time to take care of yourself, for yourself to do something that makes you stronger, faster, more complete.

* It's important to make time to do "girl things."

* Calories don't count when you are having lunch (or any other food) with your girlfriends.

* GEMS MAY BE PRECIOUS, BUT FRIENDSHIP IS PRICELESS!!!!!
