Her colors are sharp
and her beauty is astounding.
She's held and loved by many whom
she's given refuge.
She flew high in the hearts of
men and women in memory while they fought and died for her and what she
stood for.
They battled to keep her free from
those that would oppress her.
She represents the way of life
that many only dream of but will never have a chance to live.
Some have tried to do away with
her but have only tried in vain because her power is remarkable and her
cause unstoppable.
Some say she has finally fallen
to her doom but she hasn't died and she is still flying high and showing
her red and white stripes in pride.
She is still strong and beautiful
and will forever be known as Old Glory.
Thanks to all the vets!
