" A  CANDLE  IN  THE  DARK "

To be a woman in this world is hard enough but to be a woman in the life of a Police Officer requires more than most people could possibly imagine.

You see, when a man is hired in law enforcement, the woman is hired too but she is not issued a badge and a gun. What she carries at times can be more powerful and destructive. She's a Hero with-out a uniform. Not always recognized for Who she is and What she does.

When you are a wife of a Police Officer in any branch of law enforcement, you must act accordingly because what you say and do Will reflect on him. This can sometimes take away your own identity, The Real You and that can cause frustration. You also have to see that gun day after day along with other weapons. Then there are the long hours with little pay and the list goes on and on. You watch this man that you Love so much, leave for work and you wonder if he will come home to you as healthy as he left or will he come home at all.

There's probably many days when you hate this job that he's chosen.
It's very normal and perfectly understandable. Yet when the good day's are there,
you're just so proud of him you feel like yelling it to the world, " MY HUSBAND  IS  A  COP ". It's days like that when you remember once again that he's doing a job that no-one else wants to do. Yes Ladies, that's what makes you special. Without you  (A Loving You)  he could never do his job. His wife is his  REAL PARTNER  and source of strength. You  MUST  work together.

Also to each and every man, I say this to you,  LOVE  YOUR  LADIES  with
all your heart. Take a good close look at her because she's not just another female. She's very rare and precious. When she's hurting and the tears start to fall, she cries for a reason even when you don't think there is one. Try stepping over to her side and feel what she's feeling. She may only need reassurance that she is still number  ONE
in your life. Talk with her and include her when ever you can because after all, it's her life too. When you can't include her or tell her things, then in your most  LOVING  way, EXPLAIN  WHY.  This is the only way to have both, her and the job. I know from my own experience that it takes  TWO  to do your job and do it well.

So to every woman that hears this, when he leaves for work each day, let the last words he hears from  YOU  be  LOVING  and  KIND.  Also show him that beautiful smile and give him a warmth that he can carry with him in a cold world.
