"Balancing Marriages"
"Never doubt that a group of people
can change the world.
Indeed that is all that ever has."
~Margaret Mead~

A group of cops wives can change a life style.
For so many years the job has controlled the lives and
family routine.
But with us, this group, it can change. How???
Learn about the job.
Listen to them & their stories, even when it upsets us.
Look at the plusses of the job.
Plan ahead for dates and family time
Stay busy with our interests so we are interesting to them.
Plan your attack. (It's not really an attack but it got your
attention.)
When
you have a need to discuss a negative, pick the right time.
Not on the phone while they are calling from work.
Not when they walk through the front door.
Not when the kids are yelling and playing.
Not before or during your intimate time together.
Ask
if about such in such time this evening would be a good
time to talk?
While all is quiet. Believe me they are far more
receptive.
We
are their balance, we are their future, we are their true love & when
we are ourselves busy with fun interests this is what takes them from their
job to normal.
We
can be fun even with kids climbing all over us all day, be creative.
This applies to them also, but it has to start somewhere
so why not with us.
God
gave us the ability to handle many things at once and to be the balance
in our marriages.
