Canberra, Australia`s Capital.

Here are pictures taken by my eldest son Steven on his last trip to Canberra. He focused his attention on The Australian War Memorial which he loved visiting.

The new Parliment House. Good to see our government spend bulk amounts of money on themselves...lol.

The view looking out from Parliment House toward the old parliment buildings and The War Memorial way in the distance.

Telstra Tower, rising somewhere around 900 meters above sea level. This is probably the most easily seen landmark in Canberra.

The view from the public observation deck on the tower looking over Lake Burleigh Griffin toward Parliment House.

Steven`s visit to the War Memorial took in many things. He is a member of the Australian Cadet Corpse and likes looking at these sort of things.

There are many displays in glass casing, such as this old 303 rifle and other personal affects.

There are also life size displays of what troops looked like.
