 Howie introduces Deidre as one the most popular & loved stars on daytime tv.
She is up for a SOD best actress award.  They show a clip of Marlena & John (from N.O.?).



Howie asks her if she stays glamorous all the time.  She tell him no, she is a carpool mom.
Before she had children she felt an obligation to show up in public & be presentable.
And then she had kids, and realized that she can't do that.  She wakes up with airplane hair? LOL!
She found out people forgive her for it since they know she has kids.
She has trouble getting used to doing things her boys want to do.  Like gunning, running,
wrestling, camping....  For David's (her son) 6th birthday, he wanted a camping birthday
party.  So they set up a tent in the back yard.  Howie really had fun teasing her about that.
She actually spent the night in a tent.

She talked about separation anxiety from having the boys go to school.
Then they discussed surrogate motherhood, and discussing it with her boys.
Howie asked her if having 2 kid is different from having 1.  She wondered how he
handled 3. He's there (in the studio).  She would have liked a dozen.

Her exact words were "I'd do a dozen."
She would have liked to have started earlier and had more
