Two Super Subs worth & is great for a party
You may need a little special help from an
adult on
this oneIngredients:
2 (12-inch) loaves French Bread
unsliced
1/3 cup butter or margarine softened
(optional)1/2 cup mayonaise
(optional) 1 Tablespoon Mustard
(optional)16 slices lunch
meat
16 slices cheese4
tomatoesShredded
LettuceDill pickles
Have an adult slice each loaf in half
lengthwise.
Butter each half. comibne mayonaise and mustard in a
small
bowl. Spread on buttered bread. Layer 8 slices meat
and 8
slices cheese on 1/2 of each loaf. Arrange tomato
slices
over cheese. Top with shredded lettuce and pickles.
Place
top of loaf over pickles, making foot-long
sandwiches.
Have guests cut off how much they can eat. Serves 6

PizzaThis one requires a little no
sweat
bakingIngredients1
(15-oz.) can pineapple chunks3
bananas1 (15-oz.) pkg sugar-cookie
mix1 (8-oz.) container whipped
topping1 (10-1/22-oz.) can mandarin
oranges,drained2 cups iced fresh
strawberries1/2 cup cherry
pie-filling1 kiwi fruit
Drain juice from pineapple chunks into small
bowl.
Slice bananas into juice; set aside. Preheat oven to
375F
(190C). Prepare cookie dough according to package
directions. Lightly grease a 12 inch pizza pan.
Press
dough into pizza pan, about 1/8 thick. Bake 12 to 15
minutes or until edges begin to brown. Cool on a
rack.Spread whipped topping over
cooled
cookie-dough crust. Drain juice from bananas.
Arrange
fruit in circles on topping, working from outside
toward
center. Arrange strawberries around outside of pan,
then
bananas, cherry pie-filling, pineapple chunks and
mandarin
oranges. Place a whole strawberry in the center.
Refrigerate until served. Serves 8

(20-oz.) can pineapple chunks in
juice2
bananas sliced1 cup shredded
coconut1 (11-oz.) can mandarin
oranges,
drained1 (16-oz.) can fruit cocktail
with
juice1 (3-3/4-oz.) pkg. instant
pudding
mixIn medium bowl, combine pineapple
chunks and juice and coconut. Stirring slowly,
sprinkle
pudding mix into fruit mixture. Let stand 5 minutes.
Pudding will set in fruit juice. Mades 6-1/2
cups

Roll-UpsIngredients1
(8-oz.) pkg.
ham sliced1 (8-oz.) pkg cream
cheese,
softened1 bunch of green
onionsSpread cream cheeese on clices
of
ham. Lay green onion along the edge of ham. Roll.
Chill
until cream cheese is firm, then slice. Serves 4 to
6

milk1 (3-oz.) pkg. cream
cheese1 bunch small green onions (8
to
12)1-1/2 cups shredded Cheddar
cheese,
room temperatureBlend milk into
cream
cheese in a small bowl; set aside. Wash and trim
onions.
Cover white onion bulbs with cream cheese mixture.
Roll
coated bulbs in Cheddar cheese. Serves 4 to
6
Vegetable
DipA fun dip for
veggies!Ingredients
1 pt.
plain yogurt1 (1-1/4oz.)pkg
ranch-style
dressing mixSeason yougurt to tast
with
dressing mix. Combine ingredients in a plastic or
glass
container. Shake well. Use as a dip with vegetables
or
over salads as dressing. Try it with baked potatoes
too!
Makes 2 cups

Ice
CreamIngredients1
cup
milk1 cup whipping
cream1/2 cup
sugar1/2
teaspoon vanilla extract1 egg
(optional) Put all ingredients in a
1
pound coffee can with tight fitting plastic lid.
Place lid
on can. Place ingredients
inside.Pack
larger can with crushed ice around smaller can. Pour
at
least 3/4 cup of rock salt evenly over ice. Place
lid on
# 10 can. Roll back and forth on a table or cement
slab
for ten minutes. Open outer can. Remove inner can
with
ingredients. Remove lid. Use a rubber spatula to
stir up
mixture; scrape sides of can. Replace lid. Drain
ice wter
from larger can. Insert smaller can; pack with more
ice
and slat. Roll back and forth for five more minutes.
Makes about 3 cups and Kids LOVE to do this!
Frozen Fruit Pops
Ingredients 1
(28 oz.) can fruit of any kind
drained1/4
cup cornsyrup light or darkPaper
cupsWooden Ice-cream
sticks Puree drained fruit and corn
syrup
in blender. Fill paper cups with puree. Small 4 oz.
cups
work well for small children. Larger cups such as
6or 8
oz. size satisfy bigger appetities. Insert a stick
in
center of each cup. Place in freezer until firm.
Peel off
cup to serve. Serves 4 to 6
Pineapple
PopsIngredients1
(20-oz.) can pineapple slices6
wooden ice creme sticks6 marachino
cherriesPlace six pineapple slices
on a baking sheet. Push stick through the center of
a maraschino cherry until at least 1/2 inch of the
stick shows on top. Lay stick across pineapple slice
so cherry is in center of the slice. Place another
slice of pineappple on top and freeze. When frozen,
place each piece in a plastic freezer bag or wrap in
plastic freezer wrap until ready to eat. Serves
6.
Pudding On A
StickIngredients1
(3-3/4-oz.)pkg instant pudding, any
flavor2 cups cold
milkwooden ice-cream
sticksWhip pudding and milk in
medium bowl until mixture begins to thicken. Pour
into paper cups. Place a stick in the cup. Place in
freezer until firm. Serves 4 to 6
Frozen Bananas On A
StickIngredients3
bananas6 wooden ice-cream
sticks1 cup orange
juice1 cup milk-chocolate
pieces2 tablespoons vegetable
oil3/4 cup chopped peanuts
(optional)3/4 cup shredded coconut
(optional)Cover baking sheet with
waxed paper; set aside. slice peeled bananas in half
crosswise and insert stick. Dip into orange juice.
Place in freezer untill firm. Melt chocolate peices
and vegetable oil in top of double boiler. Spoon
melted chocolate evenly over bananas. Chocolate will
harden fast, so work rapidly. Roll coated bananas in
chopped peanuts or shredded coconut. Serve
immediately or wrap in plastic wrap and freeze.
Serves 6.
