Duties and Laws of the Keepers of TMI

1. A Keeper may not necessarily have to be sworn to the TMI homestone. However, no one may be a Keeper until they have sworn to uphold TMI Law.

2. The purpose of the Keepers is to maintain order at TMI, to protect the kajirae from unwanted advances of HNG,s, and create a proper Gorean House where both Free and slave may explore their true natures in a safe environment.

3. New visitors, both Free and slaves are to be welcomed. Many will be interested in our ways but not know them. Be generous in your understanding to one who is new. However, for those who mock, insult or are just looking for a cheap thrill, be  ruthless in your judgement. To abuse the kajirae under your roof, or insult our ways is a grave insult to your personal honour. Remember that. Advise them once of the error of their ways. If they persist, then act swift.

4. Respect your fellow Keepers, the rulings of the TMI Council, and at all times bend to the wishes of Lady Masque, whose House this is.

5. If you have a grievance, report it to one of the Council members. Do not let bad feelings fester.

6. Discuss freely Gorean values, but remember you are Free, honourable. Respect is not  just for the use of the kajirae. They will look to you for guidance and protection. Always show it.  They are either deciding if this is the lifestyle for them or they are learning how to do it better. Help them and watch how your standing with your fellows grows.

7. Each kajirae will be fully aware of the restrictions placed on them, and will tell you at your request. Do not seek to break them or the spirit of how they were given to her, and never allow a guest to do so. The old well, if you can use your mouth to kiss me, therefore you can use your mouth to suck me, is an old ploy. Meet it with the point of your blade. Restrictions are given to the kajirae either as punishment or protection.

8. Always respect the collar of another. If a Keeper brings his slave to TMI, defend her in his absence as you would your own.

9. The display of naked weapons in TMI is forbidden. Except by clear warning in advance of what you intend to do, for example use in the kolar ceremony. Draw a blade without warning, however innocently, and you may well be thought an assassin using a nick and treated accordingly. The Warriors will be on their honour to act first, and ask questions later. If a stranger pulls a weapon, draw your own and challenge him at once. All of you, don't leave it to someone else. A potential assassin is unlikely to throw a quiva with four blades pointed at his throat!

10. Any uncollared or unprotected slave is open to abuse. Protect them too, from the HNG's and keep an eye on new recruits. TMI is a place of Gorean safety for those who are true to Gor. But any who are honourable and pleasing are welcome. We must always look to increase our numbers.

11. All of you will be expected to come to TMI if a slave calls for help at once. Even those of you with Homestones of your own. If a general call for assistance is given and you are online and do not attend, NO excuses will be accepted other than RL or an -afk. It will be assumed you are too busy with your own Homes to discharge your duties here and will be replaced. It is no excuse for you to be chatting with your friends if a kajira at TMI has gotten into in a bad situation. Likewise, those of you with Homes of your own, may call on TMI assistance should it be required. The same applies for your slaves.
