Mission Statement

It is my intention to provide Safe Haven for any Gorean (and occasionally non-Goreans) who may require or request it and if found acceptable. It is my further intention to provide a continuing safe and nurturing environment in which anyone who wants to may observe and learn the Gorean lifestyle, such intentions to include both Free Persons and slaves. These intentions will be monitored according to the rules of the Inn.

I believe in the pure and unadulterated philosophy as stated in original (by-the-book) Gor. However, I do concede that there are necessary and unavoidable exceptions based on time marching on and the evolution of society in general. I will make a great effort to see that my training and conduct remain accurate in terms of facts and detail, but will continue to support necessary adaptations based on such things as the struggle between Gor and Real Life, changing attitudes in regard to sexual preference, and both short and long term emotional ramifications. I expect the Inn to support a traditional Gor, one that will enhance our policies in regard to safe haven. A Gor that is strict and sometimes not fair, firm but kind, sometimes brutal but always honourable.

I will not assign anyone as an Inn Keeper who does not share my basic philosophy of Gor, such philosophy being that Gor is a male-dominated society and that all women are to be submissive and respectful to them at all times. A woman may certainly act as she chooses as long as it is tolerated. I understand that my existence here is only by the permission, good-will and protection of the Men I associate with  - brothers, friends, companions.

I have the Inn on opguard and topiclock most of the time, and for good reason. Do not op ANYONE without prior approval from me. If there is someone who you prefer to op when you are there, please let me know. My reasons for opping are varied and situational. In general I choose ops on grounds of honour, knowledge, experience, attitude, trustworthiness, reasonableness, humility, honesty, skill (tact, diplomacy, mediation, discretion), and respect for my goals, philosophies, etc. There are certain people who I only allow ops when I am there personally. Do not op someone just because you have seen them with ops before. (This policy is subject to the new Council Guidelines.)

Please do not correct FP in channel unless it becomes absolutely necessary and you deem the situation unsalvageable by diplomacy. Correct privately whenever possible and productive. In the event you feel correction in public must be done, use reference's when possible, and make an attempt to do so with tact.  Please do not take sides in a disagreement other than to discuss facts and accepted norms.

Granting of permission to slaves to enter or exit will be given by Men when they are available, unless the Men prefer the FW to do so.

No swearing or vulgarity.

No losing control of one's temper.

Nothing is to take place in channel that could seriously disturb any guest, such as severe s/m scening, severe punishments, etc. I am not totally against these if there is some kind of announcement made first to the effect that such is mutually consensual.
 
Free Women are to be treated with respect and dignity as long as their behaviour is becoming a Free Woman. They are to receive protection and courtesy here until such time as they show they do not deserve it, and even then they will receive ample warnings and opportunity to adjust accordingly.
FM may with discretion "test" an unknown FW in an attempt to ascertain her status, if there is any ambiguity.  This testing however should be done in such a way as not to insult or disrespect the FW.
 
In the event of a dispute from another Inn coming to ours, as it did once recently, or any other open dispute, the girls are to be told to hold serves and be silent and any FP's continuing to talk will also be asked to please wait until it is settled.

No Magic or shapeshifting.
 
SLAVES - See slave rules. Slaves are to be protected here at all times. However, If their Owner is at the Inn, He/She will be responsible for any decisions or intervention on his/her behalf as well as punishment. If the Owner asks the Keepers for assistance we will do our best to accommodate Him/Her. Slaves who become disobedient, disrespectful, or otherwise unpleasing will be kicked and their Owner notified.

ALCOVING** - Alcoving (going into an alcove at the Inn for intimate reasons, commonly shown as Name-alc) will be done on a consensual basis only. FW do NOT alcove. If she wishes to be with a kajirus owned by herself she will do so privately.

SCENING** - Scening (intimate activity engaged in openly at the Inn) will be done on a consensual basis only. FW do NOT scene.

TRAINING - My Master Trainer is TemplarSan and my primary trainers are teya{T} (my First Girl) and tiene{Msq}y (my Second Girl).  I also receive additional support from several Masters, with the approval of my MT only. This is done by classroom instruction as well as in-channel and private support and coaching. Levels of skill are denoted by silk colour, indicated after the kolar of each girl owned by me. White is beginning level, yellow is intermediate and red is advanced. Please see TemplarSan's letter to the girls and Slave Rules for more detailed information regarding silks, restrictions, and testing.

ASSIGNING OF PROTECTORS - I will not routinely assign a protector for any girl, but will consider doing so at the girl's request or in the event she is brought to me for training and if so brought to me will be considered intended should such training prove successful and the intentions remain mutually consensual.

SERVICE -  Service is to be directed in a timely fashion, no waiting to be asked, in this order - Men guests, Men Keepers, FW guests, FW Keepers (me last). Details of such service are important and will be further addressed in training and as needed in channel.
 
SMUGGLING/IMPORTING/IRC GOR ADJUSTMENTS - I will allow the use of certain smuggled items such as chocolate, spices, and herbs. I will also allow the use of ice, as we are a wealthy House, but it is to be used sparingly and not unless asked for. Other accepted IRC norms include third person speech by slaves, certain positions, silk colours, connotation of silk colours. Our girls will adhere to strict accuracies whenever possible.

FIRST GIRL - Our FG is teya{T}. She is responsible for many things at the Inn, most of which will have to do with the slaves. These duties include organizing service, enforcing restrictions, certain punishments, hold the text files of slave rules and free person rules for visitors... offering them to the newcomers.. guiding girls where she can, assist in smooth operations in cooperation with the Keepers, advising the Council when needed, and any other duties that may be given to her by me.

SECOND GIRL - Our SG is tiene{Msq}y. She will assist the FG in whatever areas she is needed, including training, organizing service, enforcing restrictions, etc. She will report directly to the FG and to Mistress Masque when asked.
