On these next few pages, I will explain,
my point of view on how we treat the customers or the City of Lebanon.
But this is not endorsed, by the City of Lebanon. But just my opinion. For my personal Homepages
"This page is for the City of Lebanon"
"And the men and women, that make things happen"
In these next few pages, I will try to show how the water is pumped from the ground,
disinfected, and serviced to the people.
First I would like to state, there is no such thing as new water.
The portable water supply from the City of Lebanon is pumped by wells from water bearing rock formations
from 1000' to 1500' deep. At the well, chlorine is added for disinfection and fluoride is added for its dental benefits.
From the well, water is pumped to elevated storage tanks.
The water goes from the storage tanks into the distribution
system. A network of water mains ranging in size from 2" to 12" in diameter carry the water throughout the city.
The water is used for fire protection in industrial, commercial processes, and domestically.
The water service lines connect to the main lines. These houses, restaurants, factories,or any other facilities
that use portable water. Meters are located in the service lines connections. The meters are used to record the amount
of water that the customers are billed according to the amount of water used per month.
