On these next few pages, I will explain,
my point of view on how we treat the customers or the City of Lebanon.
But this is not endorsed, by the City of Lebanon. But just my opinion. For my personal Homepages
"BASIC VERSION"
1. Heat from the Sun causes the evaporation of surface water (Lakes, Streams, Ocean).
2. The clouds form because of the water of the water vapor caused by the evaporation.
3. Rain falls as filters through the ground and some flows back into lakes, streams and oceans.
The rest is stored in the ground.
4. Common Sources of Water:
Surface Water-lakes & Rivers
Ground Water-Wells
The City of Lebanon uses ground water for its source.
This water is pumped out of the ground and Chlorine and
Fluoride is added. The Above ground storage or water towers
serve to help provide both storage and water pressure to move
the water through the distribution lines to each costumer.
This water is used by the Customers and returned by way
of the sewer lines to a Waste water treatment Facility.
At this point the water is cleaned so it can return back
into the water cycle.
The cleaning process uses bacteria and other micro-organisms
which consume what is in the water.
The water is separated from the micro-organisms and is released
into the stream to continue the water cycle.
