For the ten years that I've been back and forth between South Jersey and Guantanamo
Bay Cuba, I always had a group of friends when I would visit the Navy base.
We could be described as "Military Brats", and I guess we are in a way. In the picture to
the left, you will see April and Damon in the front and Stephanie, Charlie, and James in
the back. On the picture to the right is James and Damon. Damon and I are old GTMO
vets who go back all the way to 1987 when we first moved down to Cuba. I'm sure if you ever
met them, they will tell you the story of how I made the summer of 1997 memorable
with my quote, "You weren't there MuthaF*cka!". These cats have all since left GTMO, only I remain. But I run with a new crowd these days with kids such as Brandon, Lee, Fara, Kim, Tom, Rich, and many more. You can see them by checking out my Pics from 2000
