As you can see from the photos, the mountain is so changeable. Some days when the cloud is low, you would swear someone had shifted it overnight.

| Isn't this a wonderful sight!! I'm fortunate enough to be able to look out at this mountain every day. Mt. Roland is visible for many miles around, even to those who are sailing in to Devonport on the Spirit of Tasmania, which along with plane journeys, is the only way to come here as we are an island state. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| There are walking tracks, for those people who enjoy doing that. but I must admit, the thought had never crossed my mind. LOL!!! I am told that it is a six hour journey on foot, there and back. | Mount Roland is one thousand, two hundred and thirty four feet above sea level and its an awesome sight, I'm sure you'll agree. People come from overseas to visit Cradle Mountain, which i'll feature on another page, but to me, Mt. Roland will always be my favourite. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
