I live in Indianapolis, Indiana, where, inexplicably, there is not one radio station that plays consistently good music. There is one station that plays the occasional Jethro Tull or Mahavishnu Orchestra, but, for every one of those songs, you have to listen to a dozen Doors or Beatles, not that I don't like them, but there is more music than just those bands. Another station plays what they call "alternative," but it is usually an alternative to listenable music. However, one of the relatively bright spots on this station is CREED, which has its moments of quality (or maybe I would settle for anything approaching listenable on my drive back and forth from work).

9. I WANT YOU BACK, JACKSON 5 (1969)
(I hated the song, but it probably needs to be on the list.)

74. TINY DANCER, ELTON JOHN (1972)
(There had to be an Elton John song, but this one?)

"If being an egomaniac means I believe in what I do and in my art or music,
then in that respect you can call me that...I believe in what I do, and I'll say it."
