Cheer Etiquette

Nothing is nastier than a cheerleader with a skirt that shows too much ( okay there is but I am trying to prove a point) Wear skirts that cover what they are supposed too. Nuff said.

Be nice to cheerleaders from other schools. You don't want to be known as the snobby squad (i.e. Helias for us). But, if a squad is rather rude to you, just ignore them. They are probably just looking for a reaction from you.

Your job is to lead cheers, so get the crowd involved!! Do cute chants that are easy so they can yell with you.

When hosting a tournament, hold a hospitality room. Wrestling tournaments last all day long. Hospitality rooms are great ways to meet other cheerleaders and it provides those cheerleaders with something good to eat. : )
