Let It Snow

~Christmas Tree~

The tree stands alone,
a blue spruce, a norway pine,
or a evergreen.
The beauty of the tree is always seen.
The Christmas tree stands alone,
until it is chosen to go home.
As the tree trimming starts;
and the lights are in place.
Starts the broad grin on a small child's face.
Decorations and tinsel that glow and sing.
The homemade decorations
are my faorite things.
For each christmas that
has come and passed;
decorations from the heart
are the ones that last
Smiles upon the children's face;
The "Virgin Mary, Mother"
is filled with grace.
The "Christ Child" to us she did give.
The "Saviour"of our world;
the "Christ Child" lives.
The "Three Kings" have traveled so far.
The light they followed was the "Bethlehem Star".
The "Little Drummer Boy"
at the "Christ Child's" feet.
A humble child, though not meek.
He is humbled;
he does not speak.
Upon his drum he does beat.
As the decorations we unfold;
the "Story" of the "Christ Child"
forever told.
The tree in glistening splendor stands;
friends and families all join hands.
We bow our heads as we pray;
"Bless Us Our Lord On Christmas Day".
As in all the christmas stories
that we believe;
"Bless Us Our Lord, also on Christmas Eve".
~Merry Christmas~
