Virtual Lie
The "lie" is so totaly "virtual"!
Think about it my friend.
It can start a beginning;
or it can be an end.
It can make you happy,
and it can make you cry.
The perverbial untruth,
the common 'lie'.
You have taken me thru the universe;
and we have traveled thru the skies.
You've told me of your'love' for me;
but that was just a 'lie'.
I cannot understand my friend....
I cannot comprehend;
If I say "I love you".
You can 'count' on it my friend!
There always is a begining.
Must there always be an 'end'?
You say that you 'love' me
with all your heart,
and things aren't good at home.
it's been so long that you felt'loved'.
your heart began to roam.
We started out to be 'just friends'.
We never meant to start.
The friendship turned to love, my friend,
and you have filled my heart!
We've talked and laughed,
and bared our souls.
A new freedom we express,
and all our common goals.
I never doubted you,
your friendship was so true!
No one else has ever taken the time
to know me like you do.
So in the world of reality or fantasy,
my love for you is "true".
I never doubted the words you said;
as I believed in "you".
This day has brought me heartache,
sorrow and despair.
I realized something tonight my dear...
You never "really cared!
I was jokes and kicks and laughter,
and just 'fun' to be around.
You can laugh at me my darling..
I've been your "fool" a "clown"!
I put you on a pedestal" and
"you " have brought me down.
You made me feel so good inside,
and brought my 'heart' alive...
The saddest thing of all "my love',
your feelings were just "lies"!
What was your purpose for this "Quest";
was it to "pacify"?
My greatest "love" and friendship...
my God just a lie!!!
I will never hear your voice again;
or look into your eyes.
For everthing you said to me...
"was just another lie".
I am sorry if I am not 'funny',
and I begin to cry;
again the world of "virtual" touches me...
The world of "virutal lies"!
So when tomorrow comes ,
and you start your day a new..
if anything ever mattered to you..
I believed and loved in "you"!

The virtual kiss comes from the heart.
So wet your lips and let it start.
