Tribe of Amazon Sistas 
We are strong, independent, intelligent, beautiful, powerful, pensive women, who together form the International Tribe of Amazon sisters. We met each other in the transient, faceless world of cyberspace, and decided to unite and celebrate our individual - and collective - strengths.
The Tribe is not bound to a specific place or site or country. Wherever we are, it is.
We have no rules, but we know that our shared beliefs in positivity, the defense and support of other sisters, loyalty, trustworthiness, and being ourselves bind us together more strongly than any rule book.
We are constantly gaining new members - and we look forward to even more in the future. We invite like-minded men to join with us in solidarity.
On joining ITAS, each sister is required to make a solemn oath, and is then given a virtual obsidian pendant, which they will wear after their name when in the company of others on-line.
In the oath, we promise to be bound into the Tribe of Amazon Sisters,
in strength and in love good
times and bad, to support and counsel, hug and share. We rejoice in
our own and each other’s strengths, and pledge to be there for each other,
anywhere.
We believe that we are all equal - and that we Amazon Sisters have
a responsibility to care for our cyber-sisters.
We are never afraid to speak our minds. We are never afraid to feel (angry, hurt and sad as well as joyful, happy and proud).
We are never afraid to come to the defense of another cybersis (or to
attack, if we feel it necessary).
We never move in on someone else’s prey.
We will not be kept quiet or kept down.
We will shout at the top of our beautiful voices and fly to the ends
of the earth and with our brilliant shining wingtips, joined in strength,
we will touch the bright sky.
Let freedom, love and laughter ring out.
