Theories of da brightspot
These are the little rules of life that go for any brightspot....they are the theories of brightness, and my everyday guidelines for life.  They include my beliefs and my evictions, my deepest convictions....in other words, if ya don't agree, go somewhere else...like here!!! <grins>  It's important to note that we are all human, mortal, and then prone to off-days.  Lord knows I have mine....but taken liberally, these make good guidelines for a positive outlook on life.

Theory One - Purpose
We were all put on this earth for a reason by a power that loves us, and wants what is good for us, whatever name you give the higher being.  There is a purpose behind each and every one of us being here...maybe more than one.  It's not important to seek that purpose, or know it ahead of time, but to recognize it and to live up to it when it becomes clear.

Theory Two - Acceptance
Not everything in life is sunshine and sugar.  There are bad times too.  The theory of bright is that life is a learning experience...part of our  purpose here is self-growth, lessons, to learn.  Bad times are learning experiences. No one ever said life would be easy...or fair.  It is important not to grow bitter or doubtful, but to seek the lesson in each experience and grow. In acceptance lies peace and growth.

Theory Three - Destiny
Brightspot believes in destiny...everything is planned out for us, and laid out accordingly.  However, bright also believes that we were given minds, to chose whether or not to follow our destinies, or choose our own paths.  Someone will be up there looking out for us, regardless, either helping us plan a new course, or helping us find our way back to the original course.

Theory Four - Friends
Friends are a blessing from above.  Treat them like gold and hold them close.  Brightspot believes that in times of need, ones friends should be able to turn to us.  We may not hold the key to the solution, but we may be able to brighten the face, and make the weary journey they are making that much lighter...in the same respect, one should always be able to turn to ones friends in your hour of need.  Depend on them.  You lose no pride by admiting you need help with a burden or path...and you gain so much knowledge of humility and love.

Theory Five - Shining
Brighty believes in smiling through everything.  The more you smile, the happier you will be, and so will everyone around you.  Brighty believes in making a point of smiling when you don't want to....at that one moment when you think "If this person says one more word, I will hit them in da eye", smile brightly and nod casually....take a deep breathe and try again.  It doesn't always work, but think of the pleasure you have added to that persons day if it does...

Theory Six - Exuberate
Even as we are experiencing what may seem the darkest points of our life, we must realise that people around us are having troubles, as well.  Brighty believes we must focus on the positive energy in each other and ourselves.  By putting aside your own feelings of fear and confusion, and helping someone else to do the same, you are helping to recharge and rejuvinate both of your lives.  Brighty believes we must not focus only on the needs of self to be happy, but of others as well, if not foremost.

Theory Seven - Enjoy Life
Brighty believes there is beauty in every miniscule part of our lives...even in the most ugly and unlikely of places is something to focus on and enjoy.  We can not be happy if we concentrate on all that is bad, horrid, or wicked around us.  Only when we learn to see beauty in something everywhere around us, and to enjoy the beauty we see, can we truly get the most out of life.  Focusing on something easy, bright, beautiful and cheerful can sometimes help make the hard passages easier to bear.  Beauty tempers the pain of lessons.
