Friendly Spirits

Friendly Spirits

Gentle Smiles warm the day
Gentle words brighten the path
Great and small the spirits enter and enrich
From near and far the spirits come a callin'
Laughter and stories come in torrents
Adventures abound
Little things count
Talking wires shrink the world
Close yet so faraway, they are always there
Providing words of wisdom and human contact
From lands afar to large cities they abound
They come from many beliefs and cultures
Lives intertwine, knot of life
Interests bind the spirits
Digging in past lives the future abounds
They give the subsistence of life enrichment
Local spirits compliment the faraway
In body they are there and eternally spiritual
O allow the friendly spirits to enrich and give the tonic of life
For friends are the essence of life
Sustaining the tree of life they are always valued
Loyalty, trust and freindship
