Hello everyone.
First order of business, it’s too early for me to be home from the campout. Although,
I would call it a success, I had to leave this morning as in (yesterday morning) since I
haven’t been to bed yet, the clock has moved on to the next day. Thus to be clearer,
July 4th around noon Pierre and I had to leave the campout. As disappointing as this may
have been to me at the time, it was the right thing to do. You see, Pierre developed a
kidney stone. I drove like a mad hatter to get back to Ontario as to have some medical
coverage for him. Ended up at the hospital around 3-3:30 p. m. or shortly after. He was in
a LOT of pain by then. I stayed there for 4 hours and 3 x-rays later the stone still
wasn’t moving, which meant that they may have to do some emergency surgery to take it
out. AND....if it was too complicated they would have to airlift him to London ON for it.
Which is a 5 hour drive for me and I guess he would have to miss me too much for me to
swangle some kind of arrangements to go there. However, the good news was about an hour
ago I called the hospital and they did another x-ray at 2 and it seems he might pass the
stone by morning now. (Which was a huge relief to me.)
Now as for the CAMPOUT..........I did have a great time Friday night. The park police had
to ask Pierre, myself, Jeff (aka Balls) and his friend Mike to keep it down. Apparently,
we were laughing too loud and needed a permit. Of course I wasn’t feeling any pain at
the time. And just as we had given up hope and went to bed Bryan (aka Coolbreezer) showed
up around midnight with his friend Leslie. They treated us to another hour or so of noise
and laughter that we didn’t have a permit for. Luckily, Laura (Skiddoo) had a permit
for alcohol on her campsite (which luckily for us was next to ours) so.......we
didn’t get in shit for having alcohol on our site. He might of thought we were on her
site. wheeeeeewwwww
Oh and Sara (word-up), don’t ever piss her off by shining a bright light into her
room all night. She will steal your lantern and NOT give it back!!!! Even if she
don’t know you. I wish I had been able to see what happened earlier tonight when
those dudes where looking for their lantern.
Our unfortunate departure was unexpected and I wish I could have something more to write
in here about the tiki queen and her sacrifices. Oh ya, I’m not suppose to mention
that!! ha ha ooops Also, I did meet Sheena (senshi_s) and her friend, again it was only
briefly.
Even if it was a short visit, I must say, I did enjoy meeting everyone and I hope to get
together again with whoever is willing to make the efforts to organize something like this
(hint hint *wink**wink* ya u over there!!!!!!!!!!)
One more thing before I go.
EVERYONE I MET WAS GREAT!
WISH YOU ALL COULD HAVE BEEN THERE!!
But you weren’t. And I was. Na na boo boo!!
Lots of love

Hello again.
I have news on Pierre. He is still in the hospital. He hasn’t passed the stone yet.
After it moved last night a lot it stopped moving again. It has about another two inches
to go before it goes into the gall bladder. At least last night they gave him morphine for
the pain. I don’t know what they have given him today but at least he isn’t so
high. lol
I spent the better part of the day with him, after I went to church this morning. We had a
good visit. I hope he gets better soon and doesn’t need the surgery. Although I have
talked to the nurse about it before I left and the surgery doesn’t sound as bad as I
originally thought.
One thing Pierre and I talked about today was the fact that we had to leave the camping
trip early and he apologized several times to me. I simply explained I knew he had no
control over this and not to feel so bad. (He was feeling pretty bad about it cause we
both were having a good time there and enjoyed meeting everyone.) And I have to mentioned
he was teasing Jeff while we were their and Pierre said I hope he isn’t pissed off
with me. I told Pierre, you were just joking, all in good fun, there is no reason for Jeff
to be mad, he should know u r joking.
Something I regret is not having to say a real good bye to everyone. When I said good bye
I didn’t realize things were already in bad shape with Pierre and I figured that he
would just be able to lay down for a while and then be ok. By the time we got half way
back to the campground I knew we were leaving for sure. Pierre didn’t say anything to
me but I knew he was in some pain already and it would just get worse.
However, I do hope everyone else had a good weekend dispite our unfortunate event.
To close on a good note. After being together nearly 7 years we are finally setting a date
to get married. We are looking at May 15th. Pierre wants a small wedding. So ya all are
invited. lmao Seriously, I don’t know how he expects to have a small wedding when my
mom has 11 brothers and sisters. I don’t even know all my cousins on that side.
Ok well time to run, I haven’t had much sleep and am hearing the bed beckoning me.
Lots of love
Christine
