Good evening folks,

Today is Remembrance Day.  The day we remember the soldiers that died in the war.   We honor them for laying down their lives for us.  We live in a free world because of their sacrifices.  Canadian troops liberated countries that were taken over by the Nazi's.  Holland is one of them.  Did you know there is a beautiful tulip garden in Ottawa, the tulips were sent from Holland.  It was made in gratitude and to honour the Canadian troops that helped liberate Holland. Did you know the last person to die in WWWII was a Canadian?  He was shoot by a sniper at 10:58 A.M. just minutes before the end of the war.  Did you know he was given the scarf of honour by Queen Victoria, who knitted it herself and only SEVEN men have ever received them.   His name was Mr. Price.  THANK YOU MR. PRICE!!!

Pierre's Dad came from Holland after the war.  So....if Holland was never liberated Pierre may not be here today.  I would not have him here to marry me!   I thank God and the troops for our freedom.  And I thank God for Pierre.   I love you Pierre.  Ok...can ya tell I am missing Pierre a bit.  He has been gone since Monday, I am missing him just a tad.

Was on a super high this morning for some unknown reason.  Musta been that silly new ICQ.  he he  I am easy to amuse and make happy some days.  I like some of the new toys they have added to it.  I would post the page to go get it but......i ummmm ahhhhh deleted my history folder as to where to go get the dang thing. lol   I'll try to get it and post it here for anyone who wants to go get it.

Was talking to Xeneb this morning.  She is my bestest bested friend on here.   (Amongst others.  Even if I don't get a chance to see them that often.)   She is such a sweetie.  Studying hard at school.  She took a longer break than she was suppose to....just to talk to me.  And I even told her she could be a brides made if she came to my wedding...........and I just had a brilliant idea............SCOOTSIE could be my flower girl........*snicker snicker*

I hardly did a thing here yesterday.  After I finally got of the computer I did some cleaning......but I made up for it tonight......I cleaned for a while upstairs.   Got that pig pen cleaned up for the most part.  (Boys who have free rein of the upstairs and a mom who doesn't go check on it once in a while is not a good mix.)   After wadding through the mess 2 weeks ago........I told them to put the stuff they wanted in plastic tote boxes (bought about a year ago for each of them).  I told them anything they wanted that wasn't in their box would be a.) vacuumed up or b.) thrown in the garbage by ME!  Let's just say it didn't take long for must of the junk to be picked up.  None the least.....after cleaning out stuff from up there......got ride of 2 garbage bag full of clothes and one full of toys (given to the Salvation Army).   Yesterday,  I went through Brandon's dresser, got ride of another bag and a half of clothes.  Not to mention the 2 bags of garbage from the stereo Robert and Josh took apart and the piles of papers that they have accumulated.  (Just looked at my computer desk........hmmmmm.......wonder where on earth they figured they gotta keep all those damn papers......ha ha)  And I find the weirdest things too......dumb rock collections, smiley face erasers.  Brandon likes his stuffed animals......btw.....he told me tonight not to clean out under his bed because this way there wasn't room for any monsters.  Robert likes those little army guys.  Josh is at the age where he likes his music.  (Robert too but he keeps taking the walkman's apart!!  I think there has been three or so.)

I was reading on Bronte's discussion page someone mentioned the generation Xer's to get together for a ski trip.  I thought that would be totally awesome but i know i wouldn't be able to to.  Need the green to do stuff like that.   Which......reminds me to put money in my bank account because it is working on it's over draft again.  Damn bills,  I need to win the lottery!

Ya..then I could do this wedding thing.....with no $$ worries......fly my gen x friends in for the wedding......have a free bar and even be able to go skiing with them....hell i could pay for them to all go to that too!  Lemme see......hire a nanny and a cook.....oh wait....did i have this dream yesterday...........

Night all.......take care of yourselves.
Lots of love
Christine
