Missing You

You're the one I long to kiss,
to be with and put in a state of heavenly bliss,
all because you're the one I miss.
I've made mistakes,
I wish I had given more than take,
then my heart wouldn't have to break.
Memories of yesterday linger near,
your voice being the only one I long to hear,
because life just isn't the same without you here.
You taught me to much,
how to think of others, be gracious,
as well as thankful for each day and such.
I miss your presence in my life and
being caressed by your soft touch.
My only wish is to change your mind,
by showing you that I can be
considerate, understanding, and kind.
I'd be the happiest, most grateful
person you'd ever find.
