Skilled on both IBM and Macintosh systems, used DOS and Windows 3.xx, '95, as well as the Mac OS 7.xx. Programs I have had the opportunity to use include Pro Write, Quite Write, Word Perfect,Microsoft Works (Windows and Power Macintosh versions).

Internet:
Solid knowledge of HTML, the programming language of the net used for web page design, creation of custom Java applets, use of some HTML editors such as Home Site, as comfortable with PC as with Mac net applications including FTP (Win FTP, Cute FTP and Fetch).

Music & Sound:
Music Notation on the Macintosh computer using Finale, sampling and sequencing techniques and programs, programming synthesizers, mixing and hard disk recording.

EMPLOYMENT:

1997 - present. Freelance web page design and recording Contracting for commercial web pages, creating custom graphics for those pages and uploading as well as registering them with the various search engines. Also recording a new artist's demo using the Fostex DMT 8 VL and helping the artist to get a beginning marketing plan going.

1990 - 1994 Renovation Team Supervisor and Para-legal Aid
Through Teninform, a non- profit group, subcontracted with the City of Montreal Housing (S.H.D.M.) to supervise renovations being done in occupied rental units. Duties included trouble shooting, preparing legal notices to tenants of work to be done, allowing the workers entry into the dwellings when the tenants were not at home and staying with those workers till the work was completed with a staff of up to 20 people. Para-legal duties included preparation of cases for people going to the Quebec Rental Board, inspecting dwellings for evidence of needed repairs, witnessing at the court and follow-up.

1989 - 1990 Casting Agency Assistant
Responsible for taking calls, setting appointments, meeting clients and those wishing to hire our clients, choosing files to be viewed as well as following our clients to the auditions or sets.

1988 - 1990 Independant Sales, Multi Level Marketing
As a Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics and a representative for Rawleigh Products I gained experience in sales and interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION:

1995 - 1996
Attestation of Collegial Studies from Trebas Institute for the Recording Arts, Montreal campus. Completed the program Computer Assisted Sound Design, including classes in Sound Recording, Music Business, Studio Maintenance and Music Marketing as well as Sequencer, Sampling and Synthesis.

Interests:
Of course music has been a very large part of my life but I also like to cook, swim, raise freshwater tropical fish, and read as much as I can (mainly in the area of Celtic History at the moment).
