Hello my friends and Welcome to the writtings of a very Special friend of ours.
Nuclear Knight was the very first person to bid Hello and Welcome to Sapphire
when she first wandered into the Orgasmic Bar over a year ago (then going by
the name Sun Bright) and he is much adored by her.
NK:
I stand, looking out over the fields of battle.
The smoke rises, stinging my eyes; the stench of the dead, burning in my
nostrils and I think about you.
Why am I here I ask myself. Is it for duty?
For honor?
Or is it to satiate the beast that dwels within the dark depths of my soul?
For honor, for duty, and for the taste of victory...tis all of them I know.
Yet I think of you....
Your love, your eyes, and your kindness are somehow satisfying to the
Warrior that stands overlooking this victorious battle...
but victory hast lost it's sweet taste.
What have you done to this valiant warrior,
that he no longer yearns for conquest and glory, but only to be at thy side.
Valiant he still is, and well able to defeat all opponents he hast ever
faced...but you...a gentle Lady hath bestowed upon him a blow
which hast struck his very heart....his very soul.
How you have done this, he knows not...how to undo it,he cannot...That it
may end...he hopes beyond hope that it shall not.
Yet deep in his heart there is an emptiness he had not known existed.
Only your touch could he hope to fill that hole left by the sword of
your gentle kindess. Yet this touch, he knows, will not soon come.
The pain is nearly unbearable...the wanting, yet not able to have...
but at the same time, he feels tis a joyous pain, for whenever thou art
near, a strange bubbling from within doth take him. Tis as though he is
drunken, but hath not partaken of wine. As though everything hast
changed from black and white to colour when you speak his name.
As he rides away from the battle, his spirits rise. A victory, a bit of land, and joyous honour are
his to command.
The aggressors lie below, defeated, yet his heart is going as though the heat of battle but just
now approaches.
He knows only that it must be because he goes to face you Lady faire, and the joy and pain that
ye may bring.
Will he this day win you over? Or will he again go away alone? Only time will tell, but in this
one challenge, he would accept defeat, if it were to please you. Your honour is more important
than his own, your happiness even more so.
"Grant me strength' he softly prays as he rides to face you, another day.
