voting!!!

You can vote with as many dial-up acounts as you have. For instance, if 
you have two dial-up accounts....one with Dallas Net and one with GTE, 
you can vote two times using each account once. If your Internet 
provider is AOL....you cannot use all six of those email accounts to 
vote because your ISP number, will be the same. The same goes for trying 
to get a gazillion Hotmail accounts and the like. What we look for is 
NOT your email address (joeblow@hotmail.com, silverspoon@mindless.com, 
etc.) they count ISP numbers. 
Ballot Box stuffing is not allowed, and highly frowned upon.

For everyone who is not aware, we do not count our votes manually, but use
a program that counts for us.  If the program detects two or more of the
same IP address, it throws them all out.  This week, I was extremely
frustrated because a few people were voting as many as 40 times, one right
after the other, using the same IP address.  In other words, they were
using things like this:

suzyQ@hotmail.com  (IP:  102.75.65.116)
lanceQ@hotmail.com (IP:  102.75.65.116)
shootme@rocketmail.com  (IP:  102.75.65.116)
letmein@lovable.com   (IP:  102.75.65.116)

and on the list went.  You CANNOT DO THIS!  How are they doing this?  They
think by getting 50 hotmail addresses will do the trick.  What they don't
understand is that our system reads their IP address.  The number their
provider assigns their computer whenever they log on to the InterNet.

If you have an account over at AOL, and one over at Mindspring (an account
where you can connect to the Internet), then before voting with the
Mindspring account, you must LOG OFF the Internet, log BACK IN with your
other account, and then go vote with that other email address.
