The Interview

What personal facts about yourself would you like to share with everyone?
I’m 27, live in Indiana but I’m NOT a Hoosier (no offense to the rest of you). Originally from New York, but when your family’s military you move around a lot. So I really don’t have a hometown I guess, but Brooklyn’s as close as I get. I’m engaged r/t and could elope at any minute. lol College grad, 3rd year law student, part-time employee of the state. I’m not going to give stats or anything like that…those who need to know, know. Anything else?

What is the story behind your screen name?
Well…I’m black and a law student. Sort of the first thing that came to mind. Never been much for coming up with names, obviously. I think it fits Me though.

What kinds of things are you interested in?
Sports, a good book, fine wine, fast women… lol

Who are your favorite authors?
John Irving, Robert Heinlein, David Wingrove, Victor Hugo

Which are your five favorite movies?
hmm…tough one. The Usual Suspects, Monty Python’s Holy Grail, When Harry Met Sally, Clerks, and Mary Poppins. hehe

Which musicians/kinds of music do you like best?
At least a bit of everything, but mostly “alternative” stuff… Counting Crows, REM, Nine Inch Nails, Tori Amos, Dave Matthews Band, Les Miserables (London version), Usher…that enough?

What is the most embarrassing experience in your life?
hmm…running naked around a sorority then finding out after I’d graduated some of the girls had taken pics. On the bright side, I was remembered fondly somewhere in that house. lol

What can you do well?
Spell…and be a smartass.

What are you bad at?
Not being a smartass.

If you could change one occurrence in your life what would it be?
If I changed anything, I wouldn’t be where I am now and I’m happy here. But that being said, I’d go to school in Cincinnati instead of moving up to Indy.

What is your pet peeve?
Hypocrisy, can’t stand it. Or maybe it’s people whining about things they could change if they didn’t spend so much time complaining about it. One of the two, I guess.

What is your favorite drink, alcoholic and /or non-alcoholic?
Stoli on the rocks with 2 limes is a good starter. Then I switch to beer, preferably British…Bass usually. Non-alcoholic…ummmm, Diet Coke.

Which is more dangerous Science or religion? and why?
Religion - organized religion is based on the idea of an infallible God. But the precepts of these religions come from men, who are fallible. The very idea that something as powerful as religion follows the misguided notions of men claiming to be divinely inspired, thus gaining the ability to mobilize millions for their own gratification, bothers me. That’s just my opinion, of course.

got any good recipes?
Got a great one for paella, and another for white chili, and also red beans and rice. But I’m not sharing.

What would you most like to change about you?.
.I’d like to go bald so I wouldn’t have to shave my head anymore. No wait…I mean I’m perfect and you don’t change perfection. Yeah, that’s it…

What is your favorite food?
Jamaican patties…mmmm

If You could only use 5 words to describe yourself what would they be?
Eccentric, easygoing, easily amused, intelligent, and playful.

What famous people have you met and what famous people would you like to meet?
Met - Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker (good ol’ PTL club), William Bennett (Secretary of Education in the Reagan administration…had lunch with him in college), Vernon Jordan (head of Clinton’s transition team, a fellow alum)…guess that’s it. I have no idea who I’d like to meet right now.

If you had only six months to live, what would you do?
Finish visiting all of the continents. Only have 3 left.

What was the happiest moment in your life?
I haven’t had it yet, but it’ll probably be passing the bar exam on my first try.

If you could live in any time and place when/where would it be?
If I weren’t black, I would’ve enjoyed living at the court of Louis XIV of France. The possibility of being a slave doesn’t appeal though.

What is the most difficult thing you ever had to do?
Rehab after shattering my elbow when I was 7. I was in traction for 6 weeks with a steel rod through the elbow (still have little round scars from it) and then in a cast another 6 weeks. So I had to work on being able to straighten my arm out again. Hurt like a bitch.

What would you rather be doing right now?
Counting my first million.

What does the future hold for you?
A position as general counsel with a large, multinational corporation that gives stock options.

Do you play a musical instrument?
The flute, a little piano, a little violin, and a couple notes on the trumpet.

Describe your ideal mate?
I’d say subtle, but it would just get me in trouble. lol

What do you think about cyber-relationships and cyber-sex?
I don’t think about them that much. If it makes you happy, so be it. The relationships can be very real, or nothing more than idle amusement. For some it’s an extension of their r/t relationships. For myself, more of a separate existence. Now I’m just rambling…

Do You have a real time Dom/sub relationship?
Not at the moment.

When did You embark on your journey into BDSM?
About 2 years ago, I guess. Not sure I’d call it a journey really. More of an awakening of something that had always been there and my acceptance of that.

If You were stuck on a Desert Island what 3 things and ONE person would You want to have with You? ..
I only need 1 thing…an airplane. Then bring a pilot along.

If You won a million dollars how would You spend it? ..
Start my own law firm, hire friends from college who are already practicing, then just sit back and collect on their hard work.

Youare being auditioned for a XXX movie..Verbally act out your big climactic scene.
If dropping my pants isn’t good enough, I don’t need the damn movie. lol

What lessons have You learned about women on-line?
Punctuation and grammar actually can be worthwhile…Patience is never a given….And I really know nothing about them. lol

What advice would You give to newbie just coming online to the BDSM rooms?
Say hello, then sit back and watch for a while. Get a feel for how the room flows before just jumping in. After that the biggest thing is respect. If all you’re looking for is a cyber-partner for 10 minutes, go elsewhere.
