The above picture is very special to me. I will never forget that moment in time for the rest of my life. Davey Allison was my favorite driver, Alan Kulwicki was my second favorite. Losing both of them in one year was very hard for me to deal with. I even wondered if I could carry on being a Nascar fan. With both of my favorite drivers gone forever, I did not see any point in following Nascar Winston Cup Racing anymore. I had nobody to root for anymore, my heroes were gone! I used to hate Dale Earnhardt with a passion. This day changed my life and attitude completely. When Dale & Rusty did this, I cried so hard that it hurt. But it helped me to get past the tragedies and made me want to stay involved in Nascar. I have never had a bad feeling toward Dale or Rusty since that day. I Love Nascar Racing and I will be a hardcore fan of this sport for the rest of my life. I still miss Davey & Alan very much. The 28 car is still very special to me. So is Robert Yates, Ernie Irvan, Kenny Irwin, and everyone involved with the Texaco Havoline team. Ricky Rudd has made us all proud to be Texaco/Havoline fans again, Thanks Ricky! I respect all drivers and will never use the word "hate" to describe my feelings toward any of them. I hope you all enjoy this page, and visit my Alan Kulwicki tribute too.
