Well another Summer is almost over and thought I'd share some of the pics of our vacation at the beach!! We had a great time camping and lazying around on the sandy beach and building sand castles....Here are some awesome ones that we saw in the Sandfest99 Sand Castle Contest!! :o)

This dragon won 1st place for the single competition! It was over 10 feet long but with the tail i'm sure it would be over 20 feet long. It took everyone 5 hours to complete their masterpieces for judging!
Now this is one awesome sandcastle! The couple that made this one won 2nd place
I think this one is awesome also and should have won something too...I'm not sure if it did get any awards for it or not.
My daughter won this Ape at a carnival we went to for her Birthday and the next day she made the Empire State Building (with the help of her dad) and placed Joe on top of it....LOL
I thought this one was cute! They used Kool-Aid to colour the sand :-)
Now what would be more complete then making our Hot Rod in sand! LOL Of course hubby had to do it!!
This creation was won for the commercial part of the contect! Some kids that work in one of the stores made The Tortoise and the Hare. They won 1st place in that catagory
Now, like father like son!! Here's my son poseing with a Page 3 TORONTO SUNSHINE GIRL...LOL Hubby's saying....Atta boy son!!....LOL
