^{WARNING:  This is the traditional   "I am.. I like.. I used to.. " page..}

I used to be that little girl that you can see on the left... *sight* My name is Pilar Cavazos, and I was born on November, 13th, 1980, in Monterrey, Mexico;  I still live here.  I'm 19 years old, and I am studying the 4th semester of my career (about the science of communication)at ITESM, Campus Monterrey.  My mom and my dad are doctors, and I have one sister, Magdalena who is 14 years old;  and a brother, Luis, who is 13 years old.  Monterrey is a beautiful city, but the weather is terrible.  When it's hot (most time of the year..) is really HOT.  My hobbies?  I love reading and writing, going out with my friends, play basketball, go to the movies, meeting people.. things like that.. :)  That's why I used to connect to BBS  (like Speed (+), Jaguar, Sunspot, etc.. my nick was Filotea).

    I studied 12 years (kinder, primary school, and junior high) at Colegio Montessori Contry (now: Colegio Bilingüe Madison), and those where the funniest years of my life!!  I can't forget the "trips" that we used to made to the Quinta Avalos, all the works, Concho's faces, the interpretation of Beto, and our beloved teachers!! :  la urraca (Maricela), el tony, la oruga (o Godzilla, como prefieran), Kuhn, la papa gangosa, la po-fa-vo (cuera!), Juanita Cedano, Aida, Leonor, y no se me podía olvidar el Dire Francisco!   That was really funny.. :)

  I studied High School at Preparatoria Eugenio Garza Lagüera, part of ITESM.  High school left a lot of memories also..   I always remember my teachers:  Gregory Pitts eating donuts, Braca telling jokes,  Gabriela de Alba, a Francis Rdz (she really made us work!), Polivoz!! , a don Cacho!!, a Celina-duérmanse-Nevares y a Silvia Guarjardo, also the family Barrón that taught us 500,000 DHP's (4, actually),  Alan Zermeño (...), Anilú, Lupita de Hoyos,  Elvira Niño, etc..   I still remember their classes!!  :)

   At High School, because of destiny or whatever it was, we formed a group that we called "Grupo Compacto" (something like Compact or Small Group), formed by Tinty, Pedro, Anette, Alejandro, and me, and sometimes Olivier y Carlos joined us.  As semesters passed, more people joined our group, until it became known as Raza Odiada (or the Hated Ones):  Alejandro Pérez, Anette Flores, Carlos Sánchez, Cheche, Christopher Camacho, Cynthia Cabrera, Nancy Acosta, Natal Rivadeneyra, Olivier Alferez, Pedro Bernal, Pilar Cavazos, Rocío Palacios and Sandra Olivo.  The truth is that we did a lot of things together, and lots of adventures happened, we played soccer in the rain, we played pool, we ate donuts, and pizza, and tacos..

    Now, we are studying different careers, but we're still friends.. :)
