On a warm summer night you came to
me,
all flush from thoughts of how it would
be.
Your touch was like the gentle falling
rain,
into my awaiting arms you came.
The tenderness of your warm embrace,
spoke of your gentle loving grace.
This warm summer night will stay on my
mind,
for many a night,
for a long, long
time…

The eternal fires of passion belong,
in a special kind of slow lovesong...
One that will make you weak with a sigh,
the kind that will really make you cry...
A song of the heart with a sentimental
flavor,
with feelings so thick, you can really
savor...
The one you can remember the tune to
forever,
one that you will always sing to together...
A song that will be 'your' song from now
on,
the one that will be there when they are
gone...
Sing the song of passionate fires,
and see what glory inside you it inspires...

"Auntie, why have you never married?" inquired
the little girl,
with her face full of chocolate and her hair in a
curl.
The lady, who just turned thirty, turned around
to say,
"I have not yet found the one that is right, to this
day."
The little girl's mouth turned down in a frown,
she scuffled her feet back and forth on the
ground.
"I don't know what you mean by that," she said.
I don't understand why none you would wed."
The lady in question smiled at her young niece
patiently,
then walked to the window and said solemnly,
"I somehow know I am supposed to wait,
for a special man who will be my mate."
The little girl sat down on a chair,
puzzlement on her face and questions in the air.
"I still don't understand," she sighed,
shaking her head with her eyes held wide.
The lady turned back to the window, looking up
thru the trees,
"I know it is hard for you to understand, as
sometimes I don't either, you see.
I just feel in my heart that there is someone
meant for me out there,
someone who is meant to be with me, us meant
to be a pair."
"I knew him in another lifetime, you see,
but he was not fully mine, not really all for me.
I know not his name and no face comes to mind,
but I will know in my heart when it's my love I
will find."
"We were so in love with each other back then,
you see,
but could not really be together like we wanted
to be.
And we knew in our hearts we would one day be
as one,
So, I feel that our 'one day' will very soon come."
The lady turned around then, to her niece in the
chair,
and was startled to see tears streaming down her
face there.
"What is wrong, sweet girl?!" said the lady, with
a worried look.
"Why are you crying?" she said as a few more
steps she took.
The little girl wiped her face on her sleeve,
then got up as if she was starting to leave.
She turned to her aunt and said with such insight,
"That is so beautiful,&34 and she hugged her
aunt tight.

Bubbling and boiling,
cresting it's peak,
fervent eagerness
with a burning need
of intense satiety...
seeking nourishment, fullfillment,
all enthralling,
blossoming and
becoming delirious
within...
oooooozing of
sultry, uncontrollable
cravings...
desirous of
wanton
release...

The pull is so strong,
so often dulling all else
within sight or sound,
eyes focusing on that
which can not be seen,
but seeking, nonetheless...
Feeling as though
searching hard enough
would find, see, feel, embrace...
Knees weaken,
while whimpering becomes
rampant, breathing is labored
and eyes glisten...
Such is one in a million
moments when I think of
you...

The birds of paradise fly in
my heart
and swaddle me
with ribbons of
joy,
warmth,
passion,
love,
enchanting me
with such a
rainbow of sweet
emotions...
even the darkest of days
can not take
away
all the
beauty of you that
fills my heart...

Make your way home,
I know you can, you know where it is,
where your heart lies with my own.
It is our home together, the only one we know...
it's where we live amongst our dreams,
and learn about each other and grow.
It's where our souls touch in so many ways,
inside ourselves so deep and strong,
it's where our lips feel free to graze.
The threshold of our home is filled
with so much love,
it threatens to be overspilled.
Make your way back over to me now, take what
is your own...
Touch me as only you can, my flesh and my
soul...

Sometimes deep questions come to mind as I go
about my life,
like wondering how it is one can fall in love,
and then,
with that same person,
fall in love all over again.
It amazes me so, this maddening feeling of life,
something that can tear out your soul
or better yet,
gives you so much joy,
you want all you can get.
Falling in love is an ecstasy in itself,
full of the beauty of life in it's vast riches,
and so,
falling twice with one
makes me richest of all I now know.

My smile is alot brighter and
I laugh more than before...
I feel softer and more alive
since you walked thru that door.
Beautiful things are now
much more lovely and fine.
Sweet emotions are all-consuming
since you became mine.
I am still in awe of the power
you have over me.
The way you can make me crumble
or wilt like a tree.
The meltdown doesn't begin
when I see or feel you near.
That cascading feeling starts
when I merely think of you, dear...

a captive bird in paradise
...a sweet song of wonder and beauty...
....the joyful union of two kindred spirits....
.....the lover's hands that sculpture the
loved.....
......a shadowy sun still casting a twinkle
in one's eyes......
.......the soothing, incredible taste of that
first *kiss* of your lover.......

Climb the mountain that separate our
worlds,
discover a brand new you.
Evoke the thoughts that carry us now,
to a love that is clear and true.
Reach for the sky that tumbles from above,
cascading down to you.
Clasp the hands of time and fate
and the air that is clean and blue.
Meet me on that mountain top,
be all mine for a day or two.
Leave all thoughts of normal life behind,
I'll be there waiting for you...

Cool water, crystal clear,
sunshine and hummingbirds,
with daylillies near.
You and I in our swim attire,
iced tea and melon to cool,
our bodies on fire.
Feet in first, making a SPLASH!
wet lips meet,
water on my eyelash.
Hands on your chest,
melting against you,
crushing my breasts.
Cool water, crystal clear,
can't feel the coolness
when you are near.
Moans and whimpers galore,
sweet love in the air,
I just want more...
Ripples of thirst
and waves of passion,
neither immersed.
Mixing water and sweat
with our own,
in rhythm to our duet.
Cool water, crystal clear,
looking around,
wishing you were here...

The smell of honeysuckle drifts in the air,
the soft sunlight of late afternoon cascades all
around.
The birds are waving goodbye as they head
home,
then we hear another sound.
The sound that we hear so loudly at once,
is the beating of our hearts as one.
Our mutual realization of what we hear,
excites us as much as the thought of what is to
come.
You take off your jacket, laying it down on the
grass,
and reach out your hand to mine.
The sparks that fly when we first touch,
is as heady as cool sweet wine.
I kneel by your side and caress your cheek,
feeling your flesh and looking into your eyes.
Our senses are heightened by our passions that
burn,
no longer we need it disguised.
Two sets of eyes glisten with unshed tears,
of the happiness of finally being together.
No more to hide, no more to worry,
this will now be our's forever.
Suddenly I am unsure of myself, not knowing
where I am,
confused and alarmed I seem.
I awaken fully, and then I know with a sinking
sad feeling,
you were naught but a dream...

Oh, father, you mean so much to me,
the little things you do,
that part that is truly you.
You taught me take care of myself,
to be on my own,
how to be all alone.
And what family really means,
it’s what we live for,
it’s what we need more.
Thank you, father,
for all that you give,
for helping me to live.
A richer life I could not have had,
for you were always there for me,
and helped to make me see…
That I was truly blessed by you,
and mother, too…

Time to say 'thank you'
to all that care...
To show all the love
that one can bare...
To enrapture hearts
that yearn for life...
To show the ways to
get thru strife...
To kiss the ones who
hold you near...
To cry for the ones
who hold you dear.
To reach for the stars
and claim your own...
To teach the rest
that it can be done.

Fly with me on the
moontipped wings of love,
amongst the twinkle of the
stars and my eyes...
Explore with me the
wonders of the night,
those breathless moments
of ecstasy and fullfillment....
Hold me close and feel
my passions errupting
and burning, fiery in it's
evolution and unending in it's
cravings...

It is gone, vanished, that comfort of mine,
she took of me what she could.
It is hard to hold this tongue I have,
it flaps at me all the time.
So little, to some, it may surely seem,
but to me, it was a lot.
I offered so much but she wanted more,
and in the end, I could not redeem.
She said not a word, this ‘friend’ of mine,
of this web she had woven.
That is what surely hurts me the most,
this deceit of her own design.
So carelessly some will throw away,
or otherwise mistreat their friends.
I feel as though she has aggrieved,
with much to my dismay.
Maybe now she’ll be happy at last,
in this world of hers she has created.
And now I know how our friendship is,
and our closeness is in the past…
© Mimi 6/9/97

Right from the start,
you took my heart,
and made it your very own.
It’s marked and tagged,
and so clearly snagged,
it may as well be your clone.
For I am you,
and you are me too,
so clear we are the same.
The fires that burn,
so often turn,
a torrid blazing flame.
© Mimi 6/9/97

Sometimes I feel the need to cry,
without really knowing why...
The longing inside is just so real,
with little restraint and bigger zeal...
To wake up and find the night before,
was not just a dream...
Makes me feel alive once more,
or so it makes it seem...
© Mimi 6/8/97

In all this world I thought
I would never find,
a love so true
and never blind.
A peaceful feeling of
utter bliss.
The way we love,
caress and kiss.
An angel holds our
joy in her hands,
no more we search
these vast lands...
for two have found
from deep within,
two hearts that strum
to a violin.
