Serena raced down the streets of tokyo hurring to go to the temple. "I cant be late!! RAYE WILL KILL ME!!" Serena silently screamed in her head. She was furious, mad, and sad over what happened these past few weeks... when Darien decided to dump her. She knew she had to go on and being late to another scouts meeting wasn't the right way to proceed with her life. She finally made it to the steps of the temple as she was gasping for air. Serena looked at her watch and grinned. IM NOT LATE!!! WOOHOO!!! Serena started dancing on the steps when Raye walked out of the door.
"Serena? Is that you?? Your not late for once!" Raye was amazed. Serena nodded looking very pleased.
"Yes well... Ive decided to start changing my ways." Serena pointed out. Raye looked at Serena suspiciously.
"Are you feeling alright Serena?" Raye asked Serena crossing her arms.
"Of course! Now can we get this meeting started?" Serena said as she walked past Raye. Raye sighed and followed behind Serena. Everyone was sitting crosslegged in the temple as Serena and Raye joined them. Everyone gasped to find out that Serena wasn't late.
"I must have died and gone to heaven" Luna stated. Serena rolled her eyes and sat calmly.
"Alright alright everyone... now lets get this metting started. Well i have been getting unusual readings from the sacred fire lately, it seems to me that Rubius is cooking up something." Raye said seriously.
"What could he be doing now?"Lita asked as Raye shrugged.
"All i know is that we have to be more alert." Raye responded.
"Rini is tied up in this too Raye, Rubius is after her for some reason as well as the crystal and it seems like that little spore wants the crystal too." Serena stated. Everyone nodded.
"Ok well this meetings over for now unless anyone else has anything else to point out." Luna spoke out. Everyone was quiet so Mina stood up.
"Anyone up for going to the mall?" she giggled with glee. The girls stood up and agreed enthusiastically, all of them except Serena.
"Well guys im not feeling too good... I think ill just go home and rest."Serena said quietly. Mina's mouth fell open...Serena NOT WANTING TO GO TO THE MALL??!?!?? Serena got up and left out of the temple and walked on to her house.
"Somethings up with Serena..." Raye stated.
"No kidding...."Mina agreed.
"Lets keep an eye out for her too" Raye suggested and everyone nodded.

"those measly scouts have messed with my plans LONG ENOUGH!" Rubius yelled to Wiseman. Wiseman grinned and nodded.
"Your failures are not pleasing me Rubius....you have lost the four sisters and you STILL dont have the crystal or that BRAT."
"Yes well they are YOUR fool proof plans" Rubius countered.
"Yes they are... but some how you manage to make them have some flaw... anyways.. i have a good plan that you wont be able to screw up unless you were a mental MORON." Wiseman cackled.
"Tell me more about this PLAN that you are so sure will work" Rubius said mockingly. Wiseman tossed Rubius a small vial filled with a purple liquid. "Whats this? bubble bath?" Rubius shouted. Wiseman sighed....its hard enough having to cope with his incompetence but his sarcasm is getting to me...
"Its a magic substance... that will brainwash the scouts... but i want you to use it SPECIFICALLY on Sailor Moon." Wiseman responded.
"Brain wash them?"
"Yes brain wash them.. she will lose all her memories....and make her think that the scouts and that blasted tuxedo mask are her biggest enemies" Wiseman smiled evilly. "She will be the key to her own doom... once the scouts are out of the way.. the brat AND the crystal are ours for the taking...unless you mess it up..NOW its your responsibility to get the potion ON SAILOR MOON...understand?" Rubius laughed.
"You have finally come up with a plan that is most appealing." Rubius sneered as he walked into a portal.

Serena felt just plain aweful. She moped around in her room pacing back and forth in front of her bed. Luna had followed Serena and was sitting on the bed watching Serena.
"Why didn't you go the mall with the other girls Serena?"
"Oh i dont feel like it anymore Luna.... i dont feel like doing anything anymore." Serena sighed.
"Serena.. i understand you breaking up with Darien was hard but you must get OVER it." Luna pointed out.
"I cant!! I just cant do it Luna... WHY?? WHY DID HE LEAVE ME?? Was it because i eat too much? or im a big ol Klutz??" Serena grabed Luna and started shaking her.
"S...S..Se..re...na....ca...lm....do....wn..n!!" Luna stuttered. Serena realized what she was doing and stopped immediately.
"Sorry Luna.." Serena floped onto her bed as her communicator went off. Serena picked it up. "Hi Ami, whats up?"
"Serena! Get over to the mall quick theres a monster here attacking everyone!" Ami yelled.
"Im on my way!" Serena jumped to her feet and ran out the door.

"MOON CRYSTAL POWER!!!" Serena yelled as she transformed into Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon reached the scene as a monster was attack the scouts. Jupiter and Mercury threw their attacks at the monster but it just shrugged them off. Mars tried her attacks as well as Venus but it had no effect. "MOON SCEPTOR ELIMINATION!" Sailor Moon shouted as she waved her moon sceptor and fired a blast at the monster turning it into moon dust. Sailor Moon heard a laugh behind her as Rubuis appeared. Sailor Moon spun around as she came face to face with Rubius.
"Ahhh the great Sailor Moon..." Rubius said sarcastically. He quickly opened the vial and splashed its contents on Sailor Moon.
"AACCKKK!!!"Sailor Moon shrieked as the fluid strieked all over her face. Rubius laughed and dissappeared before the Sailor Scouts could stop him. Sailor Moon fell to the floor frantically trying to wipe off the fluid. "What is this stuff!?!?!?!?" Sailor Moon screamed. She struggled some more then fainted. The scouts gasped and ran to Sailor Moon's side.
"What was that purple stuff?"Sailor Mars asked bewildered. Sailor Mercury shrugged and kept typing on her computer.
"I cant get a full reading on this stuff... all i know is that its filled with nega-energy... keep an EXTRA CLOSE EYE on Serena" Sailor Mercury warned. Sailor Moon's costume melted away and she was regular Serena. The scouts returned to their original forms and took Serena home and put her to bed.

Lita was getting worried. Serena had been asleep for nearly 2 days. Lita made a stop at Serena's house and went inside to check on her. When she came into Serena's room she saw that she was still asleep but was mumbling to herself softly.
"You mmm...cant....hurt...me..mmmNO...mmmno...." Serena stuttered. Lita looked at Serena curiously. Serena opened an eye.
"SERENA!!! YOUR AWAKE!!" Lita screamed happily. Serena's eyes shot wide open with anger.
"WHO ARE YOU!?? GET OUT OF MY ROOM NOW!!!" Serena shouted at the top of her lungs. Lita was so shocked she stumbled out of the room.
"Whoa.. i better go and let her CHILL..geez.." Lita muttered as she left. Serena watched Lita leave.
"What was the freak doing in my room?? Grr she was probably going to play a prank on me or something.." Serena grumbled as she got dressed. Serena stretched as she ate some food and walked out the door. Serena didn't run like she used to.... now she was stomping in anger.. OOHH I FEEL SO MAD...then she bumped into someone familiar..
"Hey MeatBall Head" he called teasingly. Serena glared at him... it wasn't the usual annoyed glare.. it was a glare of pure hatred. Darien's eyes went wide open. "Serena? whats wrong?"
"Get away from me. I dont know who you are and i dont like you..BACK OFF.." Serena shouted in his face and stomped off. Darien was taken back...what is wrong with her?? Darien watched Serena stomp off to the arcade with a scowl. Darien couldn't do anything but walk back and find the scouts.

Wiseman was pleased. He was suprised as well. Rubius had successfully acomplished the mission... now with Sailor Moon gone the rest of the scouts were easy to deal with... Wiseman laughed at the thought. Rubius walked in with a big grin on his face.
"Alright Wiseman i did what you wanted now what?" Rubius asked.
"We send another little helper....without Sailor Moon the scouts are as good as dead." Wiseman smirked. "Then we get the crystal and the brat and CRYSTAL TOKYO IS OURS!"

Darien rushed off to find the scouts and he fount them at the ice cream shop. All the scouts looked at him puzzled.
"What are you doing here Darien?"Mina asked.
"Theres something wrong with Serena..." Darien explained
"Dariens right... I told you guys she woke up and started screaming at me... I left cause i thought she needed to chill out... but it seems to be more than that.." Lita replied.
"Hmmm do you think shes acting like this because of the purple stuff?" Mina asked and Ami nodded.
"I think so.." Ami muttered quietly.
"You guys... we have to get Serena RIGHT NOW." Raye demanded. Everyone nodded and got up to find Serena.

Serena was grumbling all the way to the arcade. She walked past the SailorV game and felt the anger coming back to her. She scowled and stomped off. Andrew watched Serena curiously.
"Hey Serena! Is something wrong?" Andrew called to her. Serena spun around surprised.
"Uh... do I know you?"Serena asked puzzled. Andrew looked shocked.
"Serena are you feeling ok? I think you better sit and eat something.. you dont look too good." Andrew said seriously. Serena sighed and agreed. Serena ordered nearly half the menu and started scarfing the food. While she was busy eating she didn't see Ami, Lita, Raye, Mina, and Darien walk in. They walked right to her and tapped her on the shoulder.
"mmmm.....AYIEEEEE!!!!!!!" Serena yelped. She spun around to see the scouts. Her face immediately filled with menace. "WHO ARE YOU!??? LEAVE ME ALONE!!!! YOU CREEPS!" Serena screamed. She tried to run to the door but Darien stopped her. "Lemme go you JERK!!" Serena protested as she kicked him on the shin really hard.
"Oww!!" Darien cried out in pain and let her go. Serena took this opportunity and ran off. Ami screamed as a monster appeared out of nowhere. The scouts transformed as well as Tuxedo Mask.
"HAHAHAHA..." The monster laughed," Wheres your Sailor Moon?" The monster jumped up into the air and shot out energy orbs that hit the scouts. Tuxedo Mask threw a rose which successfully hit the monster in the side as it roared in pain. Sailor Jupiter took this oppertunity to shoot her thunder at it causing it to fall over.
"We need Sailor Moon to finish the job!" Sailor Mars cried out.
"But we dont have her we have to do it ourselved!" Sailor Mercury shouted back.
"Alright thats it!... MARS CELESTIAL FIRE SURROUND!!!" Mars screamed out as the fire rings hit the monster and it yelped for mercy. The scouts continued to battle the monster untill finally Sailor Venus finished it off with her attack.
"Whew.. that took a looong time."Sailor Mars grumbled. The Scouts and Tuxedo Mask returned to their original forms.
"Your right Raye we need Serena back if we face another monster....that monster wasn't particularly strong so if we face another one with more power we could be done for." Ami informed.
"But how are we going to restrain her? shell probably just kick and scream at us again"Lita pointed out.
"Leave it to me.. lets make a stop at the drug store so i can get some anesthetic to calm her." Ami responded. Everyone had serious expressions pasted on their faces. Darien walked out the door and said one final phrase.
"Lets get her."

Serena was at the park sitting at a bench...boy this feels familiar.... who are those creeps? Why are they following me? why do i hate them so much?..... Serena sighed and leaned back on the bench. Serena felt a presence behind her. Serena turned around and saw Rini.
"Hey meatball head!" Rini giggled. Serena stared at Rini.
"Do I know you?"Serena asked puzzled. Rini stared back at Serena.
"Something wrong with you Serena? Its me Rini! What are you brain dead or something??"Rini questioned.
"Sorry little girl but can you just leave me alone?" Serena requested. Rini felt confused and hurt for some reason....Why do I care for this Meatball brain?......
"Look Serena I dont want to go.." Rini trailed off. Serena stared at her shoes.
"I think its better that you go. I need to be by myself for a while" Serena responded.
"Are you still broken hearted cause Darien dumped you?" Rini asked. Serena ears screetched at the name mentioned.
"Gr...go NOW!" Serena screamed. Rini stuck her nose in the air.
"FINE. I WILL!" Rini shouted back. She felt hurt.....Im going to go find Darien! I dont need Serena... Rini thought as she ran off. Serena frowned. It felt better when the little girl was around but she couldn't stand that name being mentioned... hmmm why cant i stand that name anyways?... Serena continued staring off into nowhere.

Rini ran and ran. She searched high and low for Darien or anyone else she could find that she knew. She finally saw Darien walking with Ami, Raye, Lita, and Mina. She ran right into Darien's arms and started crying.
"Serena was mean to me!" She sobbed. Everyones ears perked up at the mention of 'Serena'
"Rini... did you see Serena anytime today?" Darien asked her. Rini nodded.
"Yeah i saw her at the park a few minutes ago... we were talking ok but as soon as i mentioned your name she started yelling at me" Rini cried wiping her eyes.
"Ok lets go." Raye said sternly. Everyone nodded and walked to the park.

Serena was still at the bench but she has fallen asleep. She dreamed that she was far off in a mystical place.... it was beautiful and she was the princess. She walked down the halls happily with a rose in her hand awaiting her prince. Then the war came and everything was destroyed. Then a voice very clear to her came....Serena....Serena...... Serena woke up in shock and the rose was still in her hand.
"I...I better go.." Serena muttered. She got up and came face to face with Darien and the scouts.
"We need to talk Serena."Darien said quietly. Serena wanted to agree but something came over her.
"NO! I dont want to talk to YOU!"Serena shouted. Darien had a hurt look in his eyes. Serena's anger subsided for a second but only for a second. She was starting to run off but Lita and Raye grabbed her by the wrist.
"Come with us Serena.." Raye said calmly. Serena screamed and started kicking her feet wildly but Raye and Lita refused to let go. The other scouts and Darien came and helped control Serena but she wouldn't cooperate.
"I DONT WANT TO BE NEAR YOU PEOPLE!! LEMME GO!!" Serena screetched unhappily. Ami pulled out the anesthetic out of her bag and gave it to Serena. Serena protested but soon she fell asleep.
"Whew.... lets take her to the temple...we have to get some answers." Raye sighed. The others were already carrying Serena to the temple.

Wiseman was angry. The scouts has somehow defeated the monster they sent, but he wasn't too worried. He knew that if he sent a more powerful monster it would destroy the scouts for sure.
"Rubius! Get over here quickly.."Wiseman ordered. Rubius walked over and came to listen to Wiseman's words. "Send another monster...and this time make sure its a STRONGER ONE" Wiseman bellowed. Rubius nodded.
"What if Sailor Moon gets her memory back?"Rubius asked as Wiseman laughed.
"Only one thing can do that.. a certain symbol that has GREAT sentimental value... but by the time she finds that..the scouts will be destroyed... and without the scouts Sailor Moon can be easily disposed of." Rubius nodded satisfied....those scouts will finally be taken care of.

Serena woke up but when she tried to move she found out she was tied up.
"Whats going on...." Serena muttered. The scouts and Darien looked at her. Her expression showed anger again. "WHY YOU LITTLE FREAKS! IS THIS YOUR IDEA OF A JOKE??? UNTIE ME NOW!!"
"No way Serena. We know that Rubius did this to you and we are going to fix it." Raye informed. "Hey Amy... how are we going to give Serena her memory back?" Serena was still screaming and shouting like a maniac.
"Hmm my sources tell me that we need to bring back her memory with something that can spark it up like a regular amnesia incident... kinda like the locket brought back Darien's memory when he was brainwashed." Amy replied and everyone stared at her while Serena continued to wail.
"How are we supposed to 'Spark' up her memory??"Mina questioned as Amy shrugged.
"I dont know.. we need someone to talk to her that wont flip her out.... so we can find out what she can and cant remember." Ami responded. Now everyone was staring at Rini.
"Hey what are you guys staring at me for??"Rini shrunk back.
"Rini, we need your help... you have to talk to Serena and try to find out what we can use to revive her memory."Darien asked.
"Hey why would you care if Serena gets better or not Darien? I thought you dumped her."Rini stated. Darien stared at the floor.
"Cause we need her... its hard to explain." Darien answered he knew he couldn't stand having her hate his guts. Rini nodded and everyone smiled.
"Thanks for helping out Rini... we'll leave you with Serena."Amy smiled. Everyone got up and walked out except for Rini and Serena. Serena's anger was leaving her as soon as the scouts and Darien walked out the door.
"Serena... why do you hate them?"Rini asked.
"I....I...I dont know..."Serena frowned."I cant remember anything.."
"Serena... can you try to remember?"Rini questioned understandingly and Serena nodded.
"Ill try.."Serena closed her eyes and a vision came to her with someone calling her ........Serena......Serena.....a red rose....rose.....she saw a perfectly formed rose glistening in the moonlight... Serena's eyes shot wide open. "A ROSE.."
"a what??"Rini asked.
"A.....a... red rose..." Serena muttered. Rini ran outside and called the others and they rushed to her.
"Did you get anything?"Lita asked.
"Yeah.. she was talking about a rose."Rini replied but then she screamed as a monster came up and grabbed her.
"RINI!!" Darien yelled out. The scouts tranformed and so did Tuxedo Mask. They fought against the monster but it didn't affect him at all. Rini continued screaming in the monsters arms.
"GIVE HER A ROSE!!! EEEEEK!! HELP ME!!" Rini screetched flailing her arms in the air. Tuxedo Mask jumped up to go inside the temple and threw a rose at the monster slashing his arm.
"AARRRRGHHHHH!!" It cried out. Serena could hear the comotion outside.. she had the urge to do something but she didn't know what. Serena closed her eyes and when she opened them she saw Tuxedo Mask in front of her. She didn't scream out as she did before instead her eyes filled with tears. Tuxedo Mask touched her hand softly and handed her a perfect red rose as she had seen in her vision. The tears fell onto the rose and she looked up.
"Im sorry.." She whispered. Tuxedo Mask untied her and took her in his arms and hugged her tightly and kissed her on the forehead.
"Its alright...but we need your help Serena.."Tuxedo mask spoke quietly as Serena nodded.
"MOON CRYSTAL POWER!!"Serena shouted as she transformed into Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon rushed outside. "Alright nega-scum.. youve hurt my friends enough!... MOON SCEPTOR ELIMINATION!!" Sailor Moon twirled her moon sceptor and aimed at the monster and fired a blast. The monster screamed and turned into moon dust. "Ha ha! Dusted!" Sailor Moon giggled. The scouts rushed to Sailor Moon.

"Rubius you fool! Sailor Moon did it again!!" Wiseman shouted as he watched the whole fight from his crystal ball. "I told you to SEND A STRONGER ONE!!"
"I did!! her blasted moon sceptor did it.."Rubius countered. Wiseman sighed....great just great.. another wonderful plan down the drain because if RUBIUS AND HIS FAILURES!....
"Well this is wonderful... now we are back to the great ol drawing board." Wiseman grumbled. Rubius stared at Wiseman... the old coot cant think of a good plan if his life depended on it... well now back to listening to his old jibber jabber..

"Your back!!"The scouts screamed. Sailor Moon smiled and hugged her friends.
"Im sorry for the way i treated you guys... but i didn't have control over myself." Serena looked at Tuxedo Mask and frowned. "Well thanks for the help but i guess you need to be going now right?" Tuxedo Mask nodded and jumped away. "Damn! Why is it whenever im in trouble thats the only time he comes to my side??... I cant TAKE IT!!" Sailor Moon wailed. The scouts patted her on the back and spoke to her reasurringly.
"Theres probably a good reason Sailor Moon.. youll get through it.. dont worry" Sailor Moon looked up to the sky...the time flew as the battle was fought and the sky had turned dark and the moon was shining. Sailor Moon turned back into her original form and stared at the moon. Serena smiled softly and in her hand stood the single rose. Tuxedo Mask watched Serena from the top of a roof and turned back into Darien.
"Im sorry Serena.." he spoke quietly as he gazed up at the huge moon.
