POLITICAL AFFILIATION, TAXES/SOCIETAL PROGRAMS & WOMYNS RIGHTS
I am also a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT & a NEW AGE FEMINIST.
I believe in the MULTITUDE of things that the Democratic Party represent & support...such as the environment, assisting the MAJORITY of this country's citizens (i.e. poor, lower and middle class people) and the various state and federally funded programs available in this country (even though my family is NOT eligible for these programs--but I still contribute to them with NO complaints because I know how important & needed they are to those less fortunate than us...even if there are a few people who abuse the system). I also support keeping Social Security as it is, "allowing" Same-Sex Marriage/Unions, forming a National Health Care System so EVERYONE in this Country has free health care no matter age, money or location (like the other industrialized/civilized countries around the world), plus funding for our public schools -- higher education and K-12 (regardless if I have to pay taxes for it or not). I figure, if I help now...I'm helping others and that's helping myself and my children. Plus I'm doing a good thing for people in need (I used to be one, some of my friends have been there too and maybe my great or great-great grand-children will need help one day). You just never know.
Like many Democrats, I'm VERY liberal minded & I understand, relate to & support alternate life styles & the LGBT community (I don't discriminate). I also TOTALLY support Womyn's Rights & Womyn in general. This includes "Freedom of Choice" in everything womyn do & being 100% "Pro-Choice" because if we, as free Americans, do not have choices...then how are we free? Especially in regards to womyn & their reproductive rights. It's THEIR bodies!

Womyn's Issues (among others) are VERY IMPORTANT subjects that MUST to be addressed in our society, not just ignored or minimized. Actually, womyn in our society should be HONORED for their strength, dedication, intelligence, love and care for people...since NONE of us would be here if it weren't for them. And, as we've seen, when womyn's rights are ignored...womyn, their children and even their partners/families suffer.
