Well, here we are! Rick and I left Reading, PA (after Rick's night shift) at 7am on Monday, September 7. By Tuesday, September 8 at 8pm, we were in Salt Lake City, UT!!! Only 37 hours! Once we got there we stayed overnight, then left the next morning for Yerrington, NV. Yerrington is about 1 hour south of Reno. We stayed with Rick's Uncle Alan, Aunt Kris, and cousins Timmy and Holly. We also spent some time with his other cousin Jason who lives in Reno.

While we were staying with them, Rick and I went to visit a few different sites. Including, Lake Tahoe...

After Reno, we went to Las Vegas and stayed in the Mirage hotel & casino. There, we saw the Seigfried and Roy magic show.

We then went for the ride of my dreams...down old Rt. 66!

Oh, by the way, we traveled in our new Purple Pontiac Sunfire Convertable with the top down most of the way.

Along the way, we saw some great sites...A tarantula crossing the road, The Painted Desert, and other great sites in the southwest

Since we didn't get to see Garth Brooks in Philly while we were on vacation, Rick and I drove through his hometown near Oklahoma City. He even has a street named after him! Can you believe it???

"Well, we drove through St. Louis, Joplin Missouri, and Oklahoma City looked mighty pretty! We saw Amarillo! Gallup New Mexico, Flagstaff Arizona...(Please Forget Winona), Kingman, Barsto, and well, missed San Bernandino"

That's all folks! Hope you enjoyed!
