PLEASE NOTE: This page is still very much under construction!!

Welcome to Aussiechicks' Guided Tour of Australia!

G'day everyone, thanks for stopping by. You may be wondering why I decided to make this tour up. ( If you're not, you can skip this part and go on ahead!) Well, I consider myself very lucky to be Australian, I love the country and most things about it. I hope everyone who wants to will get a chance to come here sometime in the future, but if you can't, hopefully this page will help make up for it (well, you won't get a tan like you would if you actually CAME here, but you know what I mean :D ) Anyway, even if you've been here already, and are just interested in finding out more about Australia, this is the page for you. I think its easier for those people who are REALLY interested in Australia to get the low down from a real Aussie, like myself. So thats why I made this page. there are lots of people wanting to find out about this great country, but nowhere to go to learn, so this is for you. So, sit back, relax, and take it slow, you can always come back here anytime to see anything you may have missed. HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY SEEING IT AS MUCH AS I ENJOYED MAKING IT!!

JUST A NOTE BEFORE WE START: Some of the pictures etc, on here may take a little while to load, give them a try, and if they take too long, stop and try when you have more time! Trust me, NOTHING here is worth missing!! Also, you'll need to use your BACK key to come back here after you're finished at the various sites.

OK, HERE WE GO....
Probably the best place to start would be by showing you a map of the country we're talking about: So click here for a map.

Yep, thats it it guys! Looks pretty big huh? Perhaps if you're from America, Canada or Europe, you'd like to see how it compares size-wise to your country? No problem: Click here to see how they compare.

If you're interested in some details about Australia like the average life expectancies, forms of governments, total area etc, this would be a good place for you to go: Click here if you'd like to see this information about Australia.

OK, the first state and city in Australia I'd like to take you to is Adelaide, South Australia, since this is where I was born and have lived all my life. Click here for a map of South Australia. South Australia is known as 'The Festival State' of Australia, and Adelaide as, 'The City of Churches'. Around a million people live in Adelaide, which is only approx. one eighteenth of the total Australian population. There are a lot of really cool things in Adelaide, including the worlds FASTEST bus, 'The O'Bahn' which can travel at speeds of up to 100km/ph!! There is lots to find out about Adelaide, so if you'd like to find out about some of the other major attractions here, as well as the average climate, forms of transport available, and other things, Click here. Or if you'd like to visit the South Australian Tourism Commission, click here.

OK, as much as I'd love to show you around Adelaide forever, its time to move on. Next stop, Sydney, NSW. You'll have to wait until I can find a good map of Sydney though :) Sydney is probably the most well known city of Australia along with Melbourne. It hosts many attractions such as the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the old, Luna Park. Another pretty nice attraction in Sydney, is the Royal Botanic Gardens. If you'd like to visit the gardens, please click here. If you'd like to find out more about Sydneys' 'cultural scene' click here.

Sorry everyone! This is all I've had time to do for now, but it WILL get finished very soon I promise, as soon as I can find some more links. In the meantime, I've found some various other links to Australian related things, which I really think you'll enjoy, so check them out :)
