The Air Unit is used by the department to help refill air bottles at large fires and provide extra light if needed. Members of the Air Unit service all of the MTFD's Self-Contained-Breathing-Apparatus (SCBA) packs and bottles, as well as conduct all SCBA mask fit tests on department personel.
