.. the full implication of what you said there has just dawned on me. These computers are indeed amazing machines are they not? When one thinks that I made those silly little wav files here in South Africa this morning, just very quickly before logging on and with my croaky bronchitis voice, and to think that you or others, or anyone anywhere in the world could be listening to them immediately after I made that posting just gob smacks me :)))]

Certain people use computers for different things .. they can be used for creativity, like our friend Wolfen here .. your homepage is coming on so nicely lately Shad .. I was in there yesterday again and downloaded that Pirch 32 program from the link in your site. Thanks.

BUT many people use them too as a means of communication, which brings me back to why I am writing this to you. in here.

Certainly .. we could all have a websie and a place to download wav files and send little messages to one another in here. That would be incredible. They would have to be very brief and at 8 bit sampling or else they become huge files .. but it is possible .. and then a good idea would be to always use the same file name .. say 'talk.wav' for example .. so that your space at your Editor does not become consumed .. just overwrite the file each time .. hmmmm ... thinking here ... of course yes .. you don't need to keep those talk files once the message has been delivered and so they become updated with the new messages each time ..

YES of course Shad .. I like your thinking there .. it would be lovely to be able to put voices to the pics and text in here ... wow!!!

And Goldwave is a great program, will convert anything...au's are much smaller than wav's same as .jpg is smaller than .gif *wink*
