hi all !...welcome in !...

hi :)...i live and work in the metroplex, fightin' the massive traffic, leapin' the teemin' crowds, rushin' the rush hour...some things in dallas / fort worth will *never* change :)...i am a computer-nut, support 'em at work, play / build 'em at home...my kids're learnin' it, as well...too bad we didnt have these things available 30 years ago :)...

where did "the lost froggie" come from ?...hmmm...now *there's* a toughie...i've always felt somewhat different than other people...all my life, i've never quite fit in...wasn't a stoner (except for those crazy 70's...or was it the 80's ???). certainly wasn't a s***kicker, could never be a preppie...so i was a loner...now, almost 15 years later, i still have no mold but mine own :)...frogs always seem to be more alone than other creatures...turtles hang out in groups (don't believe me ? go check out your local pond someday)...even deer stick together...no other animal seems to quite be as much a loner as the frog...and, whereas i don't resemble one, i can identify with them...someone, a very close friend of mine, once compared me to a monarch butterfly, and my thanks are eternal for that :)...but, as much as i am flattered by that, the lost froggie is who i am...altho, i discover i now look at the beautiful monarch butterfuly with much more respect than i once had :)... and YES, the above graphic is a caricature of me :)

likes ?...hmmm...readin' (always at the top of my list), movies (any kind, except the ones where the words don't match the lips), music (except rap, and i prefer classical or old rock, with an occassional dose of alternative), dancin' (altho i don't do it much since the knees crashed)...and people-watchin' will *always* be fun :)...there's just so many oddballs ! (a group of which, personally, i am grateful to be a member)...i like to sit in front of the fireplace and drink hot cocoa with marshmallows in it (the little ones, & not those horrid pastel thin's) :)...i like parks, and feedin' ducks, and swimmin'...i like spur-of-the-moment stuff, planned things always seem to go wrong...and i like to drive, with no particular place in mind to go, just to see where the road takes me :)...

dislikes ?...i dislike loud noises...i inTENsely dislike head games...i dont play them, and i dont expect others to, either...i dislike rap (oooh...deja vu')...people who are into what you LOOK like rather than what you ARE...finicky people...racist people...ignorance, o boy, that's one i cannot stand at all...controllin' people...people who dont like animals, especially cats and fish...and i wont have *anything* to do with those who dont like kids...

a couple of interestin' thots...

	why would someone be racist ?...dont they realize that we are all interestin' and important, and that we each have a life to lead, a road to hoe ?
	why would someone be closed-minded ?...dont they realize the joy of openin up to new things and experiences ?...
	enjoy what you have :)...enjoy what you are...life is too short to worry and stress about it...
