About 3 years ago I got to researching my roots, being a Navy brat and not
raised where I was born this hobby soon became an obsession, most
genealogists will tell you that. I currently have many families back
across the Atlantic prior to 1750 and it has been a very fun journey in
time, just wished I paid attention in history when I was in school. With
this hobby, I have several webpages on the internet. I am currently the
State Coordinator for TN for a volunteer organization on the internet
called USGenWeb, I am responsible for trying to get County Coordinators for
all 95 counties of TN to get their own pages on line and try to obtain
general genealogical info at the state level. The main site for this
project is http://www.tngenweb.usit.com/

After I graduated from high school, I spent 28 years in the Submarine Force. Between 1964 and 1981 I was stationed either in
Virginia Beach or New London, Connecticut. In 1981 I was stationed at the Bangor Submarine Base in Washington State and
retired here from the Navy in 1992 as a Senior Chief Electronics Technician (Submarine Service). I then became a matriculated
college student using my GI benefits and graduated from the University Of Washington (Go DAWGS!) in 1997 with a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Atmospheric Science. In 1966, I married Virginia (Ginger) Anne Wilson, a 1965 graduate from
Cox High School. Our home is now in Silverdale, Washington.
